Who knew some makeup and a dress could make me feel like this? I checked myself out in the mirror after Tiffany got done putting the finishing touches on my hair. I was definitely feeling myself and it didn't help that Tiffany was hyping me up by snapping pictures of me.

"Can you not?"

"What? I'm trying to get pictures of my handy work."

"You know I hate pictures."

"I don't know why. Your gorgeous, even when your not wearing any makeup. You need to stop being so damn shy and timid and step your selfie game up. I didn't want to say this but your social media page is dry."

"Yo' what," I laughed.

"It is. All you do is take pictures of sneakers and repost quotes and talk about deejaying."

"I'm a DJ, that's what I'm supposed to do."

"No what you need to do is start posting that pretty face of yours. You told us yourself that you want to put yourself out there. What better way then to do that then posting on social media."

I sighed shaking my head, she was probably right but I rarely took pictures of myself and didn't know where to even begin and told her that. Of course she had the solution because she loved social media and stayed on her phone.

"It's all about lighting and angles," she called herself schooling me and after her lesson and taking a few pictures of myself I guess I got the hang of it but time would tell. Tiffany took a picture of me showing off my whole outfit, Tiff posted it and handed me back my phone and gave her the side eye at the caption before putting my phone away.

I knew that if I didn't leave right now I would be late and since today was my first day back I was trying to be on my best behavior. Since everyone was going to be at the club later for Chance's party I would be seeing Tiff and all the boys and could only imagine what they were going to say when they saw me wearing a dress and makeup.

"I have to go," I grabbing my brand new jacket.

"Matt should be here soon," she followed me into the living room but then made a pit stop in the kitchen and snacked on a bag of hot fries before she joined me at the door.

"Matt is going to have a fit if he knows you been eating shit like that."

"What Matt don't know won't hurt him," she put another chip in her mouth and chewed loudly.

"I'll see you later."

I hugged her and told her to lock up behind her before I walked out. I headed onto the club and when I walked in I saw they had went all out. I hadn't stepped foot into the club since the night that everything went down but I was happy to be back. Everyone was dressed to impress but I kept getting the side-eye like everyone was seeing me for the first time until one of the waitresses I was cool with stopping and looked me over.

"Eli? Is that you?"

Her mouth was open all wide like she couldn't believe her eyes. After that some of the other waitresses and walked over and then the questions started. Where have I been and about my new look and one of the girls even told me that they thought Chanced fired me after what happened. I told them I was out of town and left it at that and broke away from the crowd over to the bar where I spotted Leah.

When she saw me approach she gasped but I did the same thing when I saw her.

"Damn look at you."

"Look at you. You look great."

"Finally decided to take you up on your offer," she fluffed her dark burgundy curls, "I wanted to try something new but I see I wasn't the only one."
