Somehow I managed to escape and find a ship on the surface above. It was definitely a struggle to endure. I had to walk a few miles in order to find a ship in decent condition. My training as Jedi helped me manage to hotwire it and I left this awful place behind. In space, I kept thinking that I should return to the Rebellion. Continue to fight as I have done before that explosion, but people thought I was dead. I couldn't blame them; it was a big explosion indeed.
It was time for a new life I decided. Time to leave everyone I knew behind. Maybe one day I'll fight for the Rebellion or whatever conflict between good and evil comes along. But for now, I want to leave in peace. All I ever knew was war, now I'm gonna know peace. Happiness.
True, genuine happiness. That alone made me have tears of joy. I knew where I had to go. I wanted to go home. Back to my original home. Find my family. My blood relatives back in my home planet of Shili, the Togruta home. Home.
I arrived in Shili a few minutes later after leaving Malachor. Hyperspace travel is amazing by the way. I didn't even know who I was looking for. My parents probably wouldn't know me, but they should know their child. I was young when I left my family for the Jedi Temple with Master Plo Koon. He found me when I was just a young girl on Shili. I knew he was dead when Order 66 was executed. That made my heart sad. He was a great mentor in my life when I was still a Padawan.
I landed on a landing pad not far from the capital. I took a deep breath and exited the ship onto the ground below. There were Togrutas everywhere. They didn't even notice me. Maybe I did belong here because nobody cared if I was here or not. It was perfect for me to start my new life. Now, to find my new family. I didn't even know where to start. I knew no information about them except the fact that they look like me and also that they share the same last name as me, Tano. "Excuse me," I said to the nearest civilian. "Do you know where the Tano family lives?"
"Uh, Tano... They live pretty far from here. I believe they live on the other side of the capital. Also my name is Aless," she said.
"Thank you for your assistance. My name is Ahsoka Tano," I said, unsure of whether she heard of me because of the Clone Wars. I was young back then, but things change. I changed.
"I've heard that name before. I don't remember where though," she said questioningly. "Well, I'll see you around Ahsoka. Good luck finding your family." She walked off to continue on with her day. She seemed nice. I headed off to the other side of the capital. I'm off to find my family. I'm off to find my new life in my old home.Sorry these chapters are so short. This is my first story.
