"You're mother has always been like this. She was and always will be the true party animal of Shili." He looked at her and gave a kiss on the cheek. "I understand that you are back home now and will be staying here."
"Of course I'll be staying here. You guys are my parents and I just want peace for once. I want happiness." He nodded.
"I understand. Every being in the universe will always deserve happiness, no matter who they are. I'm going to put your mother to bed, and then I'll make up the couch for you until we can get the other bedroom set up. The other bedroom was turned into a storage for all our unused junk. It just builds up so that will take a while to clean."
"I understand completely. If you can just point me to the direction of a blanket and a pillow I can just set it up myself."
"Okay. Come with me because they're in mine and your mother's bedroom." I walked with him to his bedroom and he placed mom on one side of the bed. He gestured over to the stack of blankets and pillows next to their dresser. "Those are the blankets and pillows. I'm just tired, so make yourself comfortable. If you want you can grab some snacks or a drink from the kitchen."
"Thanks Dad. That's nice of you."
"You're welcome. You are my daughter, so I want you to be completely comfortable here. Your mother would burn me alive if I treated you badly," he said in a joking tone. I chuckled a little bit and headed back out to the living room. I put a pillow on one end and placed the blankets I grabbed over the other cushions. I sat down and my, the couch was comfortable. I laid down and I actually managed to get a decent sleep. I haven't had a decent sleep in a long time.Next Morning...
"Good morning," my mother said into my ear. I groaned. I lifted my head up, but it eventually fell down again. "Get up Ahsoka. I have to show you around. If it'll help, I will not take you partying again." As soon as I heard that, I got up.
"You promise." I looked at her dead in the eyes.
"I promise. Now get dressed and eat. I made breakfast." She cheerily walked into the kitchen. I definitely did not get her morning traits cause I hate mornings. I dragged myself into the kitchen and plopped down on a chair and started eating. I could definitely tell who was the cook in this family as I took the first bite. I ate it all in two minutes and got dressed in three. My mother was done getting ready as I got done as well. "You got ready quick. I assume the breakfast was good."
"You definitely are the cook in our family."
"Yeah, your father was never a good cook. He insists on trying to make a good cooked meal at dinner, but it turns out awful every single time. He never gives up though and I find that admirable. Now, enough talk, well not enough because I'm going to give you a tour of Shili. Your father already knows we're going to be gone awhile, so we don't need to worry him. I packed what you and I needed and there will be places to eat as we go. Also, don't you think that you are getting through this trip without at least one trip to a club because I want to party and I'm not, partying alone."
"Fine, let's go. Let's get our adventure. Mom and Daughter, adventure of a lifetime."
"Let's go!" We packed our things in the speeder and went to where we wanted to see, and my it was going to be epic.Okay, my lovely readers. Next chapter is out tomorrow, and you know all that speech thing authors give at the end. Have a good day. Bye!👋👋
