"Hey, time to get up. It's time to leave for your mission," said Heather. I gave a half groan and somehow managed to get up. "Just because I was pretending to nap yesterday doesn't mean I don't listen to my best friend."
"You're the sweetest Heather. Well, I got to get ready and get to the landing pad. I'm going to miss you by the way Heather," I said. I gave her a quick smile and a quick hug, then I ran off to grab my stuff and get ready.
"I love you Ahsoka. You better come back because you owe me a drink from last month!"
"I will pay you back when I get home! Love you too Heather!" I ran across the main area with my bag slung over my shoulders. Leia was at the landing pad doing work it looked like. When I made it to the area, I managed to catch my breath.
"You're late," she said in a snotty tone. "If you got all your things get inside the ship. I got a Droid preparing it for takeoff."
"Okay. I just want to ask you something. Why do you treat me so badly? I have done absolutely nothing to you."
"I treat badly because I don't want to get too close to people who are known to leave me. Everyone eventually leaves me. The only constant I have is my father, he never leaves me."
"I know how you feel. My old master left me for the Dark Side of the Force. I know it's probably not the same, but he will never be the same person again." I took a deep breath. "He was kind and a good friend to me. Also, he taught me well in the ways of the Force. He was loyal. After he turned, all he does now is make people suffer for when they did nothing wrong."
"I'm sorry Ahsoka. I promise to warm up to you. But, if you leave me, you lose my trust. The only case if you leave me and you don't lose my trust is death. In death, you never have an excuse for me to stop trusting you, because you never asked for it. No asks for death, unless you are really weird in the head."
"Now that we got everything out of the way, Leia. You want to head out now. We do got to do a mission." She laughed a little after I said that. It turns out she does have a sense of humor.
"Yeah, let's head out," she said with a smile. We got into the U-Wing and the pilot Droid shut the main door. I found a seat and sat down.
"You ready everyone. It's not going to be a short ride to the mission site. Our first destination is a neutral system. There you'll take a ship to your mission area. When you guys are done, you just take a ship out to the neutral system and I'll pick you up there," the Droid said.
"I just have one question? Where is the spy we are trying to get passed enemy lines," I asked.
"He is currently at our destination on the neutral system planet. The person is just laying low in order to avoid those awful Stormtrooper patrols. Just because it's a neutral system doesn't mean that the enemy can't be there 24/7," he said. "Also, my name is VH-5378. You two can call me VH."
"Okay VH. Thanks for helping us out by the way," I said. We just sat in silence the rest of the ride because we didn't have any other topics to talk about. I just decided to stare out the window to ponder about life. It's a usual life activity of mine. There is just a lot of things to think about if you live in a life like mine.
"We are here on the neutral system. Now, good luck Ahsoka and Leia. Come back alive because I like you too," said VH.
"Awe. Thanks VH. We like you too," I said. Leia and I got out of the ship and we walked to the nearest transmitter and Leia put in the code to contact the spy. "I just want to say, I got the most compliments today out of all the days I've been alive. Also, what do we do now?"
"We just wait Ahsoka. That's honestly all we can do for now. Don't worry though, the spy knows what he has to do," Leia said.
"I hope so, for all our sakes..."Bye lovelies. Have a great day.
