"Run," yelled Leia. I ran like the wind down the crowded streets below the Senate building, Stormtroopers chasing me, trying to shoot me but failing every time. You might be wondering how I got into this position, it all started earlier in the morning.
12 hours earlier...
"Ahsoka, wake up. We need to start the mission," said Leia. No answer. "Ahsoka, wake up," she said more stern. Still no answer. She started to get frustrated with no idea how to me wake me up. Then an idea popped in her head. Leia got a small bucket of water from the bathroom, don't worry it's from the sink. She went over to me and she poured it over my head.
"I'm up," I yelled.
"Good, now you don't have to shower. Just freshen up, we got to go," Leia said. "Matt is waiting downstairs in the lobby, and you know how he is."
"I'll hurry up. Just tell Matt to have patience," I said. I got dressed in my normal clothes and I started to head downstairs. I got in the elevator and I didn't expect to see Stormtroopers in the elevator. I just managed to stay quiet and minded my own business but they didn't care. They were just having a conversation about a small riot in one of the lower levels. I got out of the elevator and Leia and Matt we're already waiting in a speeder for the Senate building.
"Let's go slowpoke! We don't have all day to do this," Matt said. I got into the speeder next to Leia because I was not going to sit next to Matt in that mood. "Took you long enough. Hey driver, we're good to head off to the Senate building."
"I'm not slow. I had a rough night in the hotel room, not exactly the best room," I said.
"Then why did you sleep in? If the bed was uncomfortable, why did you sleep so long," asked Matt.
"I woke up five times in the night. By the time I fell asleep it was early in the morning. I got at most 4 hours of sleep," I said.
"Sorry I asked. Okay, we'll be there in five minutes. Speeders these days go really fast," Matt said.
"Okay, so when we get there, what do I do?"
"You Ahsoka are going to wait on the side of the Senate building above the Emperor's office. You are just going to listen in and if things go bad, you can feed us some words to say," Leia said.
"Alright," I said. "That sounds simple enough. I won't get seen by the Emperor. If he sees me I'll be dead. I won't be able to go in a place with Stormtroopers again."
"You are a good person Ahsoka. We got a lot riding on this and a Jedi is not exactly the best person to be on Coruscant right now," Leia said.
"You're a good person too Leia," I said. We gave each other a hug and it felt so comfortable and loving.
"If you guys are done, we're here," Matt said. We got out of the speeder and I paid the guy who drove 100 credits.
"If you keep my secret, I'll give more than required," I said. He nodded, took the credits and drove off without a second thought. I jumped up to a higher level to avoid the Stormtroopers patrolling the lower grounds. I got to the side of the Emperor's office pretty well. I climbed up out of the window view to avoid being seen by the people currently in the office. I looked out on the horizon while I waited till I had to listen in. The sun was setting and colors danced around the horizon. It looked so beautiful. The city buildings made it even more beautiful as well.
"Hey Ahsoka, if you're done staring off into space, we're in," said Leia.
"Okay, I'll get into position Leia," I said. I climbed down a little, I managed to get just above the window so I wasn't in cite of the people in the office. "I'm good. Whenever you're ready."
"Hello Emperor Palpatine. I hope your day has been going well so far," said Leia.
"Hello, Leia Organa. I'm doing well. I have been looking for a new personal guard because my last one went insane," he said. "Who is your friend here? I hope he isn't an enemy."
"Oh, right. This is Matt, and I found him in the army of Stormtroopers. His time was up and he was looking for job and I decided to help him," Leia said.
"Yes of course. He would be a perfect guard. I'll just have to have him run a few tests and he would be good to go," he said. Palpatine turned around and put his hand on Leia's back, guiding her to a chair. Then, he stopped. He stood still, a cold expression was on his face. He knew, he knew I was here, listening to them. Leia knew. She turned around and walked towards Matt and she whispered something, then I heard.
"Ahsoka, run. Run now and don't stop until you reach a ship. Get the heck out of here now," Leia said. "Go back to the base and wait there and lay low." I jumped off of the building and ran like no tomorrow. I didn't stop running. My heart was pumping fast and adrenaline was pumping throughout my body. I didn't know what was going to happen but I didn't care. I just ran. I didn't even know where because I was so focused on running. The only thought on my mind was to leave Coruscant, now.Sorry I didn't publish yesterday, it was completely unplanned. I finally finished everything I needed too for school and it felt relieving. I just wanted time to do what I wanted to do. I hope you guys understand. I hope you all have a good day. Bye my lovelies.😘😘
