Chapter 17

     I spent the night in Maz's castle, planning on how I am going to be organized in the attacks against the Empire. I had to hit them where it would hurt and also in places where the most evil occurs. I was restless throughout the night, I managed to sleep, but it was rough. I wished for some peace but I never received it. The thoughts that dwelled in my mind were thoughts of my past, when I wasn't so set on anger.
      I wasn't a Jedi anymore, so I'm allowed to have these angry thoughts, but still, it made me feel weird. I never had angry thoughts before, it wasn't the Jedi way. Somehow, I managed to get a few moments of peace before the sun rose on the horizon, starting a new day on Takodana.
     When I got up to go to the bar area to wait for Maz's contact, I thought a drink would be the best thing to calm my mind from anger. When the drink entered my system, my thoughts were soothed and I felt relieved from the pain of last night. Once I downed two drinks, a man came over. "Are you Ahsoka Tano," he asked.
     "Depending on who you are, yes I am Ahsoka," I said.
     "Good. My name is Kevin. I'm one of Maz's contacts for information on the Imperials. I heard you needed some."
     "Yes, I do need information. I need the location of places where it would hurt the Imperials if I destroyed the place, and help the civilians if the place was destroyed."
     "Of course. I know quite a few locations, but they are highly secure. You need good infiltration skills if you are to get in and destroy the building." He took a deep breath and signaled the bartender for a drink. "There is one place in every Imperial building that is weak. If that weak spot is destroyed, the whole building will be burned to the ground. Your first target should be the mental asylum on Corellia. This facility uses painful methods to treat the mentally ill. If it is destroyed, the people will no longer have to endure that painful treatment."
     "Even if I didn't want to get back at the Imperials, I would still destroy that place. Do you have the blueprints with you?" The bartender came with drink and placed it on the table and walked back to the bar. He didn't suspect a thing.
     "No." He took a sip. "I don't currently have them, but I can get them to you in about two days. If you stay here, it will make the process go faster."
     "Why is that?"
     "The Imperials trust Maz with information because it is useful for when they forget the information, they can go to her. However, they never used her because they forgot information, so she began selling it to the Imperials' enemies."
     "She must make quite a profit then. There are a lot of enemies that could use the information she has to destroy them."
     "Yeah. I will get you the blueprints for the building. Until then, lay low and don't draw attention. If the Empire knows I'm helping you, both our skins will be wanted."
     "I know that. Just, get me the needed information. Until then, enjoy yourself Kevin. I have awhile until I'm looked for by the Rebellion." He looked away and took a sip of his drink. I think he told me all he knew, or he didn't want any Imperial sympathizers to overhear our conversation.
     "Have a good day, Ahsoka." He got up and left. Kevin looked very shaky and threatened. I didn't know why, but I thought that was a little weird. Maz doesn't like Imperial sympathizers that much, but she allows them into the castle. I just sat there thinking, thinking about my plan to infiltrate the asylum. But, the plan would have to wait because I need the blueprints in order to continue with my plan. I needed to wait.

Okay. I should've put this note at the bottom before I published, but it wasn't on my mind. I'm going to publish more during February school break. I haven't decided on an end number for chapters, I just wanted to mention to keep in mind that the book is half way done. I've been thinking between 30 and 40 chapters. Input from you guys is always good for me so I can make decisions better. You can give input in the comments, I get the notifications right away, so I would see what I need to fix before publishing a new chapter. Also, I already have a new story in mind, but it will be different from this one. Chapters would be longer, but updates less.
