We managed to survive the Imperial officers and Stormtroopers that are swarming the customs area. Many people have been lining more on the side we just entered, wanting to leave the Imperial side. They torment so many people daily, so I don't blame them. I had my own past with the Empire, and it should remain in the past. "Alright," said Mom. "We got a few minutes till we get to the hotel. Let's talk about how are we going to succeed in avoiding the Empire around on this side."
"Sounds like a good idea. Even if we do get caught, we have the appropriate identification," I said reassuring her and myself.
"Yeah, you're right Ahsoka. Let's just get to the hotel. If we worry around these guys, they'll get suspicious and that's never a good thing." We continued on our way to the hotel, seeing squads of Stormtroopers every so often standing guard at the buildings just chatting like normal people. "We are finally here. Remember to grab our things, I'll go get us a room." She quickly went inside and I got our stuff from the storage compartment underneath from where we were sitting. We didn't pack a lot, so it was very easy to carry everything. I headed inside and managed to find a spot on the couch in the lounging area. I took the seat and placed the bags on the ground and sighed. I knew it was going to be difficult to last on this side of Shili, but I didn't know that Stormtroopers were going to be everywhere. I'm afraid that I'm going to run into a stormtrooper that knew me from the past and he is going to bring my old master to Shili, making me flee away from home. These were just thoughts though, the chances of that happening are small though. There are millions of Stormtroopers on Shili. One of them won't be one that knew me. "You good Ahsoka," Mom asked.
"Yeah, I am fine. I was just thinking about things."
"If you want to go back home because you feel uncomfortable, we can. I don't mind cutting our trip short."
"That's nice of you Mom, but we are continuing this trip and finishing it. I wanted to see all of Shili."
"Good! I would've agreed to go back, but the best parts are on the Empire's side." I laughed a little, got up, and we headed to our rooms. "Our room is on the second floor. Room 347."
"Okay." We headed towards the elevators and pressed the up button. Inside, when the elevator opened there were two Stormtroopers and a couple civilians, casually minding their own business. It was still a little awkward though. Just standing in silence. Once the doors opened, we got out a little faster than a normal pace. We reached our room in about 2 minutes because it was easy to navigate the halls. We opened the door with key my mother was holding. In the room, there was one bed, and a dresser with a T.V. on top. There was a giant window on the far side of the room with the curtains closed. I just decided to plop myself on the bed and go straight to sleep. Honestly, I didn't care about taking care of my hygiene. I was tired and I just wanted to sleep. So, I did.
