Amelia was leaning into Owen's chest. Owen ran his fingers through her hair. Owen rocked Amelia back and forth and kissed her head.
"You're going to make me fall asleep," Amelia laughed.
"It's ok," Owen said. Amelia nuzzled into him, she loved the way he comforted her. Kailey and Ryan were watching from upstairs. They were crouched down by the railing of the top of the stairs.
"They have to be dating," Kailey whispered.
"My mom is sick he probably just feels bad," Ryan said.
"My dad talks about your mom a lot," Kailey said.
"My mom talks about your dad a lot," Ryan said.
"Are you sure they can't see us?" Kailey asked.
"I'm sure," Ryan said, "I used to hide here all the time when my mom used to date this other guy James."
"How long ago was that?" Kailey said.
"Six or seven years ago," Ryan said.
"Well don't you think you were smaller," Kailey laughed.
"Shut yo they won't see us," Ryan said.
"We should just ask them," Kailey said.
"When?" Ryan said.
"When we get proof," Kailey said.
"Why don't we just wait until they tell us?" Ryan said.
"Okay fine," Kailey said. She leaned in and kissed Ryan. Both of them got up and went down the hallway and talked in Ryan's room for a while. Amelia and Owen we're downstairs watching a movie in the living room. Owen had his arm around Amelia and Amelia was leaned into him.
"We have to tell them," Amelia said.
"I know," Owen said.
"We should do it now," Amelia said. Owen smiled and leaned in to kiss her. Amelia put her finger to his lips.
"You'll get sick," Amelia frowned. Owen moved her finger and kissed her softly.
"That just means I'd just get to spend the day with you," Owen smiled.
"Can we just tell them?" Amelia asked.
"Yes," Owen said.
"Ryan! Kailey!" They both said. They were both nervous for what would happen next. For what they didn't know, is that their kids had already caught on.
