Amelia was laying on her side. Owen had his arm over Amelia's waist. Owen was sound asleep. Amelia couldn't sleep. She would have nightmares. Owen offered to stay up with her but she told him she was fine. She closed her eyes for a little bit and everything came back to her. She sat up and woke Owen up.
"Owen," Amelia said. Owen opened his eyes and realized Amelia was upset.
"What's wrong?" Owen said.
"I'm scared, I can't fall asleep," Amelia said. Owen propped up a pillow behind his back and opened his arms for Amelia. Amelia wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on his chest. Owen wrapped his arms around her.
"I've got you it's okay," Owen said, "I love you."
"I love you too," Amelia said. Amelia laid there for a while, having Owen's arms around her. She liked this feeling, she felt safe.
