Chapter 47

Amelia and Owen had finished their dinner and they were walking out to the car hand in hand.
"Hey wanna go walk around the park?" Owen asked.
"Yeah sure," Amelia said, "I love that park." She smiled and Owen kissed her head. They got in the car and Owen got super nervous. Owen pulled up to the park and got out with Amelia. He grabbed her hand and they started walking. There was a small fountain on the other side and he planned on doing it there.
"It's so nice out," Amelia said.
"Yeah," Owen said. They were approaching the fountain and Owen grabbed Amelia's other hand which caused her to stop walking. They were both standing in the beautiful park that they both loved alone, holding hand in hand staring at each other as if time had stopped. Owen got down on one knee and Amelia let go of one of his hands and put it over her mouth. Owen smiled at her.
"Amelia I love you," He said, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, we've had our ups and downs, but we always bounce back together, stronger. I love everything about you, how hard working, strong, dedicated, and loving towards your work. I love the way you are with Ryan, and even with Kailey. I can't wait to build a future with you, and spend the rest of my life with you because I love you Amelia, I love you so much, and with that, will you marry me?"
"Oh my god Owen of course!" Amelia said. Owen slid the ring on her finger and kissed her passionately. They broke the kiss and just smiled at each other.
"I love you Owen," she said. He put his arm around her and they walked around the park more, just talking.

Back at the house Ryan and Kailey were in the kitchen doing homework.
"Do you think he did it?" Kailey asked.
"Who?" Ryan said.
"My dad," She said, "Do you think he proposed to your mom?"
"Yeah," Ryan said, "I think he did."
"So now we're like step siblings," Kailey said.
"Step siblings that dated," Ryan laughed.
"Let's leave it at step siblings Ryan," Kailey laughed.
"Alright," Ryan said.
"You know we could have a bunch of little siblings in a few years," Kailey said.
"Yeah," Ryan said, "define a bunch." They both laughed.
"I meant two or three," Kailey said.
"Yeah," Ryan said. Amelia and Owen got in the car home. Amelia was so excited to marry Owen. They talked all night just about random things, and they both enjoyed it a lot.
"Wait do the kids know?" Amelia asked.
"Yes," Owen said.
"They're Alright with it?" Amelia asked.
"They were both thrilled," Owen said. Amelia smiled and kissed his cheek.
"I love you," She said.
"I love you too," He said.
