Owen woke up to the sun coming through Amelia's blinds. He looked over and Amelia was cuddled in blankets next to him. He checked his phone and it was 9am. It was Saturday, so both Kailey and Ryan were either sleeping or downstairs. He had to talk to them today about proposing to Amelia. He got up and put a shirt on and walked downstairs. Ryan was on the couch watching TV. Owen figured he could talk to him now. Owen sat down next to him.
"Morning," Ryan said.
"Morning," Owen said, "Can I talk to you?"
"Yeah sure," Ryan said, "what's up?"
"How would you feel if i proposed to your mom?" Owen asked. Ryan looked at him and smiled.
"Do it, you make her really happy," Ryan said.
"Thank you," Owen said.
"When are you asking her?" Ryan asked.
"I'm not sure yet?" Owen said.
"Okay," Ryan said. Owen walked into the kitchen and made coffee. He took his phone out of his pocket and saw a text from Amelia. It read "hey honey can't you make me coffee and bring it upstairs because I'm lazy? love you :)" He texted back yes and made a second cup of coffee. He walked back up the stairs and opened our bedroom door. She was sitting up watching tv on her computer. She looked over at owen and smiled.
"I love youuuuu," she said cutely.
"I love you too," Owen said. He handed her the coffee and he went to walk to the other side of the bed. She put her coffee on the end table.
"No come back," she said. She held her arms around and Owen cane back to her. She nuzzled into him and hugged him. Eventually the two of them ended up cuddling and watching tv. Amelia was nuzzled into Owen's chest thinking about how eventually she'll have to go back to work. Owen could tell she was deep in thought. He rubbed her back and she looked up and smiled at him. Owen knew he had to propose soon, and he thinks today's the day.
