Chapter 8 - Making Plans
"You really didn't come here just to let me see and talk to my daughter?" Eren asked with mock disbelief.
"Of course not. We need your help. People are coming after us, thanks to that loving wife of yours."
"What? How can she know about you? Has she seen you before?"
"No. I guess she was "worried" about Civia and sent people to find her. Looks like Civia didn't help by telling her mother that she was going to the cliffs."
"What? I didn't tell her where I was going. I just ran off."
"Not that time sweetie. It was before you even met me." Olena said as if she was talking to her daughter.
"Oh, I didn't know if I would find anything. I just wanted to satisfy my mom's wishes. I'm sorry."
"Don't worry, you didn't do anything to harm anyone, you were just trying to be a good daughter. There are some actions that bring bad consequences even when we try our hardest not to bring them."
"Ok, now that that's settled can we move onto a more important subject?" Eren asked feeling a little odd seeing how much they cared for each other.
"Obviously you don't see how important all of this is. One thing led to another and every little detail is just as important as the large ones." Olena sounded like she was getting angrier.

Eren's POV
"I'm sorry, I've never been in a situation like this before. The only other time I've ever had to try to save my life was when I was with you." I said getting scared with how angry Olena suddenly got.
"It's okay, both of you calm down, there's no reason to be mad at my father." Civia said to Olena, "And there's no reason for you to be mad at or scared from Olena." She said to me.
I looked down feeling like I had just been chastised like a child would be, and from my own daughter too. I noticed Civia take another step forward and stare right into Olena's eyes. They just stayed like that for a while then Civia's expression changed first she looked surprised then angry then relieved. "Um, could you tell me what just went on here?" I asked indicating them.
Civia looked down almost like she was embarassed to be caught doing something. "Don't worry about it. I just got everything settled."
"But, how did you do that? You didn't say anything." I said really confused now.
"That's what you think." Olena said with a hint of amusement in her voice.

Civia's POV
"It's okay, both of you calm down, there's no reason to be mad at my father." I said to Olena, "And there's no reason for you to be mad at or scared from Olena." I said to my father.
I took another step toward Olena. "Now why are you taking all of this out on my father? He never did anything to hurt you, did he?" I asked her.
"No," She growled, "But, he did something to hurt you."
That statement took me by surprise. "That was in the past. He's all ready apologised for that. Can't you just let it go?"
"For now." She reluctantly said, "I will focus on getting us somewhere safe."
"Thank you."
