“WHAT THE FUCK!” Michael’s shouts could probably be heard from China they were so loud.
After he had gone for a shower, we all returned to our spots in the living room. Their living room, much like mine, was by no means made for six people and we were either on the floor or lying across one another. Before however, everyone was in on what we were doing to Michael. This time, I was the only one who knew what had happened.
My giggling made everyone else turn to me, confusion clear on their faces. Michael’s shouts asking what the hell happened were still loud and I smirked.
“One, two, three, four, five…” Michael came flying into the room.
“I swear to God Natalie, what have you done?” He grabbed a bit of his now bright green hair.
“You look like someone’s blown you out of their nose!” Luke had started laughing as soon as he noticed and the rest of us joined in.
“How did you even manage this?”
“Swap shampoo for some bleach and mix your conditioner with green hair dye and, well, you see what happens.” I couldn’t move my eyes away from his hair, trying not to laugh and failing.
“How didn’t you notice?” Now that Ashton had mentioned it, I couldn’t help but wonder. Who doesn’t notice their shower water going from black to green?
“I obviously don’t open my eyes.” Michael deadpanned. He stormed back out of the room.
“Hey Natalie, can I talk to you?” Luke was standing by the kitchen door and, noticing everyone was still talking animatedly about Michael’s new hair, I followed him to the kitchen.
“I got Michael’s card and pin today,” I grinned at Luke. “He’s got a fair amount from jobs and gigs. I guess he’s been saving for a while. It’s not much to max out.” He placed a card in my hand with a piece of paper that read ‘0106’.
“You’re amazing!” I hugged Luke and ran back out to everyone else. I flung myself in between Nicole and Rosie on the sofa and put my arms around their necks. “After work tomorrow, we’re going for a serious shopping spree. Maybe even a spa visit?” They grinned at me, knowing what Luke had accomplished.

                              -&-

I woke up feeling groggy. I got home at 2am the night before as we had all stayed together to watch a movie. I wasn’t a morning person at all and five hours of sleep may sound like a lot to some people, it was never enough for me. Unfortunately, I knew I needed to get to work.
Stepping into the shower, I thought about the shopping spree the girls and me were going on later. We had decided that we were in fact going to go to a spa once we were done and we had come up with the perfect way to let Michael know what we had done.
After doing my hair and brushing my teeth, I pulled on my work top and some jeans. I hated the Republic tops. Although they were a good fashion store, the tops were a horrible material and clung to me in all the wrong places. I always wore a small cardigan hoping that it would hide the horrible top.
I was making sure that I left my very early as part one of maxing Michael’s credit card included expensive coffee. I knew this coffee shop on Sloane Square that some people actually made reservations for. No chance I was spending Michael’s money of cheap Starbucks coffee. The restaurant was called Colbert and I knew they a high end one - even their menus were in French.
‘Robbers’ was on the radio and I turned it right the way up. My fingers were tapping along to the beat and although I can’t sing for shit, I did anyway. Weirdly, having someone else’s money to spend made me happy.
