Hindi ako sigurado kung dapat paniwalaan ko ang mga sinabi sa akin ni Matteo. I wasn't even sure if he was telling the truth or not. Pero gusto kong malaman ang katotohanan tungkol kay Tommy Giordano.

The school library had tons of books about the V-Virus, a couple on power procedures, a few research studies and textbooks. But I couldn't see anything that would tell me the truth.

I combed the bookshelves again looking for a book entitled Cupid and Psyche. I almost visited every corner of this library but I couldn't find one.

Why would I even believe him anyway? Damn you, Matteo!

I went to the nearest classroom to check the book. Wala pang mga bampira sa loob nito. Nakahinga ako nang maluwag dahil doon. Hinayaan ko ang sarili ko na magpahinga muna sa isang upuan.

Kinuha ko ang libro at binuksan ito para basahin. There was a letter inside written in script. Nagtatakang kinuha ko ito at sinuri nang mabuti.

It was a letter coming from Tommy Giordano. I stiffined for a while and checked the letter again, puzzled.

Huminga ako ng malalim bago ko ito binasa.

I paused from reading with confusion. Pure Defender? What does it mean? I took a deep breath and kept reading.
