You stand in the line to audition for P.T. Barnum's museum, you feel your brother Kamren squeeze your hand, and smile up at him. You see a man who must be at least 7 foot in front of you and feel a cold chill down your spine, behind you a man who must way at least 500 pounds. Wow.
"Kamren and Adi Poole."
You and Kamren walk up to Mr Barnum.
"So you're brother and sister and you do trapeze?" he asked.
"Yes" you reply.
He writes your names and ticks next to it. He smiles at you and Kamren shakes his hand and you leave, a scrawny man with a balding head and coal black eyes glues a poster to the wall.
'THE POOLE TWINS: TRAPEZE' you read, confused, you walk up to Mr Barnum.
"Excuse me Mr Barnum," you start.
He turns to you and smiles. "Yes Miss Poole?" he beams.
"The poster, Mr Barnum," you say plainly.
"Yes?" he asks, slightly confused.
You pull a poster from the wall and point at 'TWINS'
"What?" he asks, still confused.
"This says Kamren and I are twins," you pause, "I'm three years older!"
"Really? Well you really couldn't tell," he sneaks in.
"We don't need your flattery, Mr Barnum," you say.
"Adi stop!" Kamren yells. "You are going to ruin our chance here!"
"Adi your brother is right."
You glare at him.
"The poster is fine." Kamren says.
"But it-"
"IT'S FINE!"
Knowing you have lost the fight you walk off.
