Chase was with his mother for over 2 weeks. They were inseparable. Making up the moments they lost.

Chase: Do you think I'll come back to life?

Clara: Yes, most likely but maybe not.

Chase nodded and got onto his feet. His vision grew blurry and had trouble walking.

Clara: Chase? Chase dear?

Chase fell onto the ground near some pink petunias. His mother rushed near him.

Clara: Chase? Chase!?

And with that, the world went dark.

2 weeks later

Skye came back almost every single darn day. She almost had to live at the hospital so she would miss anything. It was almost a week ago that she was pronounced queen of Demour and maybe of Sola if Chase doesn't make it. Again, Skye came to his room and he was still unconscious and even after his surgery on his head. Her stomach began to show a bit more but that didn't bothered her. What scared her was if Chase didn't wake up, the staff would take him off life support.

Skye, Everest, and Marshall both came into his room until they saw a doctor and nurse there shaking their heads sadly. They feared the worse happened.

Skye: A... A.... Anything happened?

Doctor: I'm sorry your majesty. Chase isn't responding to any treatments. Even after the surgery on his head and chest, nothing responded. We considered moving him to the ICU but even if we did, he won't respond. The only thing we have to do is take him off life support.

All three began to hit realization. They were just in sudden shock.

Marshall: What if you use something different?

Nurse: Even if the doctor did, it would be bad for the medicine intake for Chase.

Everest: Is that our only option?

Doctor: Yes milady. We're sorry. You can say your last words to him. We'll give you 10 minutes.

The doctor and nurse both left leaving all three of them alone. They circled around the bed.

Marshall: I can't believe this

Everest: Me neither.

Skye: Why... Why....

Marshall: Skye, it's for the best. We don't need much drug in his system. Please

Skye: If it is the only way. I have to.

They stood in silence and suddenly.

Everest: Did he just move?

Both Marshall and Skye looked at Chase who's arm began to move. It just twisted as they looked in awe.

Marshall: Nurse! Doc! I think Chase is okay!

The nurse and doctor rushed in and checked on his eyes and breathing. They as well saw Chase's arm moving.

Doctor: Well one, he seems to get out of the coma and two Marshall, don't call me doc. Doctor would be fine.

Marshall grinned. The nurse check the scans and everything.

Nurse: He seems to be reviving Sir.

Doctor: Good and it doesn't seem to that he had an after effect on the bullet wounds. Yell at us if he wakes up. We need to tend other patients.

They both left as Skye, Marshall, and Everest circled around again. They stood for almost 2 minutes as Chase began to moan a bit. He groggily opened his eyes.
