Walker's POV
It has been two weeks and Havana isn't letting anyone get in her way. Noah is still her body guard and they are super close, and Kodan and Roc all sit with her at lunch every day being her new best friends. I mean I get it though. Her and Kod are dating but they don't act all lovey dovey. And now she's got a bike??? I mean damn it's a nice bike but she has a bike?? And she looks fucking hot when she gets off that thing. The boys and I walked into lunch to see a new girl, and damn did she look mighty fine. We walked over to our table and Nodan stopped the girl in her tracks pinning her agenst the wall.
"Hey pretty." He said and smirked being the fuck boy he is. I glanced over at Vana's table not to see anyone and then the doors to see Vana with her hair down, wearing fishnets, a skinny black skirt, a white crop top, her lether jacket and her Tims. Damn. You know that part in the movie when the guy see's the girl for like the first time and everything is in slow motion? Yeah, well. That's how i'm seeing her now. Damn.
"C'mon Ken." She said snapping me outta my trans as she pulled on the new girls arm pulling her to their table.
"Woah I wasn't done with her Wilde." Nodan said and grabbed Vana's arm.
"Yeah well now you are." She said through gritted teeth and pulled away from Nodan but I could tell he tightened his grip.
"Not till I say so." He said and slapped Vana across the face taking her aback.
"Aww are you gonna go cry to your boyfriend??" He asked and made a pouty face makingb her slap him.
"What boyfriend?" She said and smirked pulling out of his grip. Woah what? Her and Kod aren't together anymore?? I smirked knowing that two weeks ago she was weak and frail, and now she is a fighter. A monster.
"Get back to the table Ken." She said and gave the new girl a light shove twords Kod and Roc. They all ran over to the table and Havana stood her stop.
"You do know that you will always be a nobody correct?" Nodan asked and threw a punch right at her head but her hand shot up blocking the punch making Nodan take a step back.
"I get that, but I am not just gonna sit around letting you and your other fuckboy friends bully innocent people. Bully me all you want, because day by day I will get stronger and not only will I be known as the fighter for this school but I will be the biggest monster you have ever met." She said through gritted teeth and tightening her hold on Nodan because he started to wimper a little. Woah? She is making the second strongest kid at school wimper? What has gotten into her?
"You are gonna regret this you hoe bag. No one will ever love you and no one ever has since Kyle." He said making me breathing stop.
"Cool. I'm a big girl now and I can take care of myself please and thank you. And whoever Kyle made that vow with is doing a pretty good damn job because they showed me that I don't need fucking anyone other then myself. You know, I thought that they just sucked ass at keeping promises and hated me, but in reality, they never showed up because he never made a vow with anyone. He made a vow with me though. You wanna here that vow?" She asked and smiled an evil smile making Nodan shudder. She leaned down and whispered something into his ear and he cringed and she smiled.
"Leave." She said and let go of his hand and walked away twords the doors. Nodan walked back to our table and sat down in awe.
"What the fuck did she tell you??" Dalton asked.
"She told me that the vow that her and Kyle made was that she had to keep her friends close and her enemies closer." He said and shuddered.
"And why is that so bad??" Clara asked.
"She told me that her and Kyle hated each other. That's why they were so close. She told me that they were monsters to each other but put on an act for school. That's why they loved each other so much. Because she kept her friends close, but her enemies closer." He said.
"She is playing a cruel game of cat and mouse. And now, we are the mice and she is the cat. And she is this close to getting what she wants." He said and shuddered making my stomach flip inside out. I looked out the window to see her putting on her helmate as someone yelled,
"HAVANA THE HERO!" and people started to chant it. She flipped open the guard on her helmate and smiled making my stomach flip. Don't go chase after her Walk. She climbed on her bike and started the engine and flipped down the guard. Don't go chase after her Walk. I heard the bike start and then I looked out the window to see her bike gone. Don't go chase after her Walk. Don't go chase after her Walk. Damnit. I stood up from the table and walked out to my bike and put on my helmate not regretting anything. I looked over to see Kodan getting on his bike seeming pissed off a little but I kinda brushed it off.
"WALK!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING??" Nodan yelled as he stood infront of my bike.
"The real saying is keep your friends close, your enemies closer." I mumbled.
"Yeah we get that." Nodan said.
"Another quote from the same guy not 5 minutes later is to love your enemies." I mumbled.
"Woah what?" Clara asked.
"KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE AND YOUR ENEMIES CLOSER BUT NEVER FORGET YOUR ENEMIES WILL POINT OUT YOUR FLAWS AND BE THE FIRST TO NOTICE YOUR WRONG. YOU EVENTUALLY LEARN TO LOVE YOUR ENEMY." I yelled making them all step back.
"No." Dalton said.
"He doesn't." Clara said.
"If her and Kyle were really enemies, that explains why they loved each other so much, and why he chose to save her from that bike? Because they both kept each other close and learned to love each other. All enemies do. I guess it just took me a little longer." I said and smirked.
"Walk stop." Ceceil said.
"No. Because I made a vow of protection over her with my brother, and now I am finally noticing that I really love her.And I don't know what I would do without her in my life. Because yes I might be lether jackets and skipping class but she is the reason why I haven't gone completely insane. " I said and reved my engine. I heard them all yelling but I tuned them out as I drove away twords home. I pulled into her drive way and walked up the her door with a cheesy smile on my face. I knocked on the door and heard screaming so I slowly opened the door to see Vana sprawled out on the floor with blood dripping from her arm and temple.
"VANA!" I yelled as I ran over to her and held her in my arms. I looked at her temple just to see a cut that might need stiches and I looked at her arm and felt a hole form in my stomach. FIGHTER was engraved down her forearm. I looked around the room to see a blade with blood on it making me cringe and a fallen vase with water and flowers strewn everywhere. But a single rose seened as it was crying, but not water. Blood.
"Whay are you here??" She asked as tears fell down her face.
"I made that vow with Kyle. And I know I have done a shit job at it but I promise to be your vow of protection." I said and kissed the top of her head making her cry even more.
"I love you Walk." She mumbled as her eyes shut ever so slowly making my heart race even faster then ever before making me stand up and run to my house where all my mothers stuff was where maybe if my mom or dad was home they could save her or I mean I know what to do. Kinda. I ran over to my place and luckily my mom was home and I gently placed her on the bed as my mother ran her to the room.
"I love you too." I mumbled.
I love you too Havana.
