Curious Much?

The whole group was surrounding me and couldn't stop talking about the game. Everyone kept complimenting me, and after a while they started their own conversations. This time no one was left behind except for me of course, and well Stephen.

I walked up to him again, but didn't say anything. He looked pretty darn serious now and I didn't want to disturb him. I just silently walked with him, as we both stared up ahead.

"Miss Prior" he said.

"Hmm?" I said.

"Where we are going, I should inform you that it's....not very civilized" he said.

"Oh? And how far is this place now? I mean it's been quite a while since we have been walking around" I asked in a mocking manner.

"We're here, actually" Stephen said.

I was about to say something, but was astonished by my surroundings. It was like a mafia headquarters, except it was like a five star hotel from inside. The outside was moldy and had very old architecture. It was surrounded by people that looked high, and whom stunk of alcohol. But the inside, that was a completely different story. There were people in suits all over the place, and the walls and flooring were perfect.

"If this isn't civilized than I don't know what is" I said.

"I meant the people not the place itself" said Stephen.

Our group stopped and we all stood together, except it was weird because everyone seemed to stand in front of me.

"Uh, hey! Hello people, do you not see me over here" I said behind the rock wall of my friends.

"Shh. I wouldn't say anything right now princess. This place isn't the prettiest, and definitely not a place for a girl like you" said Jacob.

"What! Well if I'm not supposed to stay here than why are Sam and Charlotte here?" I whispered.

"He said girls like you" said Ian.

I was about to respond when I heard the voices of a peculiar man talking to Stephen.

"Mr. Adela! Do not disrespect the girl, we aren't going to hurt her. Besides she is requested" said a bulky man with a wide smirk across his face.

Everyone slowly moved out of the way except for Sam, who kept his place close to me. I suddenly felt really out of place, since everyone was staring at me. The man who was talking to Stephen moved his eyes from top to bottom looking at me. He then looked at Sam who didn't flinch, instead gave him a death stare. The man instantly dropped his smile and stood straighter. Behind me I could hear the snickers of the twins, and my brother.

"Well I think that it be best suitable for such a caring man like yourself to show us lot some hospitality" Charlotte said putting a hand on her sister's shoulder.

That was funny, because as tense as Sam seemed she seemed to relax herself a little after her sister's motion.

"Of-Of course miss, please all of you follow me into your room's" said the man with a shaky voice while looking over at Sam.

"Miss Prior and I will be sharing a room. As will Mr. Prior and Ms. Charlotte Deaveux, however in a separate room" Stephen said bluntly.

Somehow I felt safer knowing that Stephen will be with me.

"Alright Mr. Adela. But how about the...rest of them" said the man hesitantly looking at Sam.

"Oh I will be fine alone, just place these two boys together" said Sam avoiding the twins annoyed expressions.

After a while we were lead into our rooms. My brother and Charlotte had their rooms at the end of the hallway across from the twins bedrooms. Stephen and my room was just beside Sam's in the beginning of the hallway.

As Sam stood outside of her room Stephen stopped her before she could enter.

"Are you sure you want to stay alone in there, I'm sure we won't mi-"

"Aww would you look at that, Stephen Adela cares for me" said Sam with a pout.

"Samantha stop, I'm serious. Are you sure you're okay being alone?" said Stephen again.

"Don't worry big guy, you trained me hard enough to take care of petty villains like these" said Sam with a confident smile on her face.

She looked at me and I smiled back knowing that nothing will happen to her.

As we stepped into the room, I looked around at it's beauty. My eyes halted to a stop looking at the only bed in the whole room. Stephen started to make himself some coffee.

"Umm Stephen?" I asked.

"Yes Miss Prior?" he asked.

"There's only one bed" I bluntly stated.

"Oh? My Miss Prior what a discovery. But I can assure you I was well aware of the fact" said Stephen.

"No you idiot! I mean there's only one bed, so who's going to sleep on it?" I asked.

He turned around and stared at me to the bed.

"Well Miss Prior, you don't have to worry about that. By the looks of the bed there seems to be plenty of space. We both can manage" said Stephen.

"What! No, I am not going to share a bed with a lunatic like you!" I yelled.

"Hmm? And why is that, are you chicken? " Stephen challenged.

The son of a bastard! He used my only weakness against me, and my exact words. I never, and I mean never reject a challenge.

"You-you, ughhhh. Fine, but stay away from me" I said pointing a finger at him.

He held up his hands in surrender, with a playful smile. I don't know why but his smile made me smile.

Just then there was a knock on the door. I didn't dare open it, knowing here wasn't the place to explore. When Stephen opened it Sam came out suddenly with black hair tied up into a donut bun at the top of her head. She had on a sleeve less top and a mini skirt, and bright red lipstick to total up her looks. Damn she looked hot.

"Well what do you think? Do I look seductive enough?" asked Sam doing a cat walk as she came into our room.

I laughed and said "Very. But how did you dye your hair so quickly? And why are you dressed like this again, are you going to a party".

"Okay so first off, this is a wig. Second you guessed right. Stephen, me, Charlotte, Ian, and Jacob are going to a party for...some business" Sam said.

"That sounds great, but...what about me?" I asked.

"It's simple you aren't going Miss Prior" said Stephen.

"Bu-"

"No buts. It is decided that you are not going, besides neither is Nick. He will stay with you tonight to keep you company" said Stephen.

I was going to argue, but chose not to. I knew he wouldn't let me go, so I'm just going to have to find a way to get there myself. Besides I can't just die here in curiosity.
