Stephens Point of View
For gods sake, this girl was going to drive me insane.
"Childish, brain dead moron, absolute idiot" I muttered my way back down to Aprils table.
She was on her phone, thank god I wasn't really in the mood to walk up to her at the moment. I searched the food court for Rob. He was on a phone call, and by the looks it wasn't good news. I walked up to him as if it were a reflex.
"What's wrong?" I said.
"I'll call you back, keep me posted" he said ending the call.
He turned to face me and I creased his eyebrows.
"I can't seem to get in touch with our men in Egypt, they aren't answering any of our calls or messages. I'm not sure if its completely safe to go" he said.
"It's fine, besides we were able to handle the men here we can do it elsewhere too" I said with a shrug.
"Yes we were able to handle them here. Barely! We were forced to send half our team away, and they even hurt Hazel. By the way where is she?" he asked.
I opened my mouth to say something but then closed it. Where was she? I hadn't noticed her for a while.
"What is that-that...what is that woman doing here?" asked Sam in an angry tone.
She always try's so hard not to swear. I wonder when she's going to learn, it doesn't matter.
"Business. Apparently" said Rob.
"Okay aside from your personal nonsense, where is my baby sis?" asked Jacob.
I ignored his comment and went out to search for her myself. I scanned through the crowd towards the food court but didn't see her. I turned my head back to April, and to my surprise Hazel was there. She was offering her a drink. Wait she listened? For once in her life she actually obeyed a command!
Just then Hazel accidently spilled the drink on her dress. Was she for real? I mean could anyone get any less...idiotic than that!
I was about to charge towards her when Sam grabbed my hand.
"You know what, I think you should let junior do whatever she wants" said Sam with a smirk across her face.
"You're only saying that because she tried to get you fired, and you think that it may be a way of getting back at her" I pointed out.
"No. I'm saying that because April might get pissed or even better, scared, and hopefully go away. Hazel isn't as weak as you think she is; she might even have the capability of kicking her ass. Hard. And its pretty fun".
I rolled my eyes, and looked towards Hazel again. Sam was right, she wasn't as weak as she looked. In fact she was strong, stronger than anyone that I have ever met before. She had that sort of aura, and it attracted everyone towards her. And that everyone included my enemies. For Christ's sake Hazel was just a girl; a normal girl who had a normal life, until Russo decided he wanted her. And why? I still don't know. Just thinking about what would happen if I didn't pay enough attention towards her safety sickened me, because I knew what would happen. Russo would get her, and god knows if she would ever be able to come back. No! I couldn't let that happen, I wouldn't let that bastard take her away. She deserved better...anyone would have deserved better.
I didn't realise that my hands were clenched into tight fists. I slowly opened them and searched the airport for Hazel. She was talking to April, and April looked like she was ready to die.
