A Bumpy Ride

"What the heck, why is this thing turned the other way. Hey! You bloody moron, turn your darn head this way" I screamed.

Sam and my brother were literally on the floor laughing. Or should I say on the hot, sandy, desert land. Yup! You guessed right, we were here. In Egypt. In the hottest season of the year. And...I was dying, frustrated, and half scared to death. You know what else was surprising...Stephen. He was so calm, and here I was stressing about the time when Jason Russo would pop out of no where with a gun pointed to my head. Seriously! Had this guy no self conciseness of what was headed our way.

Sam and Jake couldn't stop laughing, and I gave them a long death stare. Unfortunately that didn't work, and instead they burst out laughing even more.

"Hazel dear, try turning yourself around" said Rob with a smirk across his face.

"Oh, and how do you suppose I do that. Both my feet here are dangling down from this-this, beast! I don't understand where I'm supposed to put them without causing any damage to myself. Whenever I feel like I found the perfect spot, either I have to move or this thing has to move. And now when I know that I was exactly where I needed to be, its head is the opposite way!" I practically screamed.

"First off Hazel" I turned my head in front of me as Stephen started talking.

"That beast that you mention of is called a camel. Second, your feet are supposed to be dangling off of it, just like on a horse" said Stephen.

"Well your camel is awfully large for a horse, and does it look like that I have ever ridden a horse before? No! I haven't" I said clearly annoyed.

When no one said anything, I tried to turn myself around. Except when I looked towards the sandy earth below me, my head started to spin. Jesus Christ! I didn't even realise that I was this high up. I placed my left leg above the huge camel hump, but wasn't able to get it down.  Damn it! I tried to push it off, but I started to loose my balance but a firm hand kept me up by supporting my waist. I grabbed on to the hump with a stronger grip, and pushed myself up again.

"Uh, thanks" I said avoiding Stephens graze, and the butterfly's that were forming in my stomach.

"Do you want me to help Princess?" asked my brother.

"No Jacob, I think you should check on the task that I gave you ten minutes ago" said Stephen.

"Oh shoot! Totally forgot about that, I'll be right back" said my brother running off into the Egyptian market ahead of us.

"Wait, what task?" asked Sam running off after my brother.

I watched them both run off into the crowd, with their Egyptian clothing on. Did I mention what we were wearing? Well me and Sam, since we were girls we wore these nice open dresses that let the air ventilation pass through since they were so loose. And boy did we need those! The men on the other hand wore baggy pants, made of white silk. On the top they had brown leather vests on, to keep their weapons in. I think Sam got one too, since she was one of the many people among us who knew how to shoot. Also! We all wore turbans, so that our hair wasn't dangling and it also provided protection from the heat. I wondered what kind of a lunatic I must've looked like. Probably pretty stupid to have myself in such baggy clothing. Not that I don't wear baggy clothing, heck, that's what I wear all the time. But does it look like that I would ever think of travelling the world...in a dress! Definitely not.

"Throw your leg over the hump completely".

Stephens voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Oh! Um, yeah just-uh gi-give me a minute" I hesitated.
