Saying Good Byes

"Remember to take care of yourself, and you don't need to worry about not knowing about the routes around here. You know everything and I'm just a phone call away if you need me and-".

"Cher! I get it okay, I won't worry and I'll take care of myself. I got the routes right here so don't worry" said Sam pointing to her head.

Charlotte sighed and said "I just I-I'm going to miss you. It was after 2 years we finally got to be together again".

"Well I think you'll be seeing each other again back home, especially because of me" said Nick with a wink.

He was able to walk again, but at a very slow speed. He lost a lot of blood, but the 'doctors' said that he was able to take a flight back home. I wonder where we got medical care from over here in Ireland.

Ian stood beside me as I silently watched Nick get in the car with Charlotte in the driver seat. Stephen was busy with a phone call, and Sam and her sister were busy arguing about god knows what. My brother was helping put the bags in the car, and he looked like he was clearly struggling.

My concussion wasn't any better, and I still needed support while standing up. I just wished it was anyone else besides the wrathful twin, Ian. We stood in silence as he put a hand around arms, keeping me up.

Well this isn't awkward at all!

Ian cleared his throat and said "So...".

I looked straight ahead and said "So...".

"Do you want to sit down or something, I-I can get you a chair if you want?" said Ian hesitantly.

"No thanks. Hey, if you want to go you're welcome to I can ask Jacob to help me?" I said with a hint of anger on my tone.

Ian remained quite for sometime longer, but then sighed in defeat and said "Hazel I'm really sorry".

Well isn't that a surprise?

"For what?" I asked slightly amused.

"You know what...everything that I said to you. It-it wasn't right, I was just really worried about Nick. I never expected something like that to happen, and I-I guess I needed someone to blame. Turns out you talking to me was bad timing, and I took it all out on you. I was never the one to care about others feelings, especially when I'm upset. That's...sort of Nick's job, to put me right. But he's pretty weak right now, and I swear if he were his usual self he would have punched me hard for saying those things to you" said Ian.

I looked at him and laughed.

"Oh yeah? Well let me assure you, if I were in my right mind back then I would have punched you myself" I said.

Ian laughed and said "Yeah? So, I'm hoping we're good?".

I nodded and he let go of me for a high five, but I guess he forgot that I still needed support. My knees buckled and I almost fell before someone from behind caught me.

"Ian!".

Guess who?

"Sorry! Sorry, I sort of forgot. We-we were just apologizing and all" defended Ian.

"I gave you one job, to take care of her until I was on the phone. I have to do everything myself" said Stephen.

"My savior" I mumbled.

Stephen kept a stern grip on my waist as I attempted to walk to the car. His touch sent butterfly's to my stomach, and his sudden caring attitude towards me was sort of weird...but sweet at the same time.

Ian walked to the other side of the car and sat in the back seat with Nick. They had the windows rolled down so I was able to see their faces properly. There was a twinge of guilt and disbelief in my heart, because of there departure. I only knew these guys since the past few weeks, but I felt that I grew exceptionally close to them.

"Well...I guess this is a good bye" sighed Charlotte.

"Until next time Haze" said Nick with a mock salute.

"Take care you guys" said Ian.

We all waved good bye as their CRV went around the corner.

Damn I miss them already!

Rob, Sam, and my brother walked ahead of Stephen and I in silence. I couldn't blame them, I knew exactly how they felt. Like something was missing, and...empty.

Just thinking about all the problems that have happened in the past few days caused my head to hurt, and walking just made it even worse.

I groaned in pain, as I held onto my head. In an instant Stephen grabbed my legs and waist, and picked me up...again.

I yelped, but his expression remained stern. He looked...sad. I was going to protest against his sudden behavior, but thought it be best that I be quiet.

Stephen carried me into my room again, and placed me on the bed ever so gently. The others were already there, and judging from there faces there was something wrong. Or evidently something was going to happen, and it wasn't going to be pretty.

Since nobody was saying anything I coughed aloud to get everyone's attention. As expected they all turned around to look at me.

"So...what's the plan?" I asked.

"I got a message from one of Russo's men, they-they wanted to talk to Hazel" said Rob nervously.

Stephen whipped his head towards Rob with anger in his eyes.

"On the phone!" exclaimed my brother trying to calm Stephen down.

Sam sighed and said "We have to take precautions though. They could easily track our phone through the call, but I think I could stop them. I can block our location for two minutes, no longer than that. Do you think that their talk will be over by then?".

Stephen leaned against the window frame and said "Do we really have a choice? We're going to have to make the conversation that long, we just need to know where he wants to meet us next".

My brother sat on the bed near me and said "You think you're up for it Hazel?".

I smiled slightly and nodded.

Are you ready to do this Hazel? Are you ready to talk to that bastard?

Here's another chapter guys! Hope you enjoy. Comment, like, and follow me to share your thoughts.
