Don't Mess with Me

The air outside was chilly as our group stepped outside of the airport. It wasn't freezing, just as Sam had said but it was definitely cold.

As if reading my mind Sam took out a blue hoodie and passed it over to me. I mentally thanked her with a smile. Without notice our group started to walk again and as usual I was unaware. I started for the group but tripped on something on the way, thankfully somebody caught my arm before I fell face first.

I looked up to see who it was and saw an angry expression of the Mr. Adela himself.

"Sorry" I said.

Silence. God does he ever get tired of not talking.

He stared at me for another moment before leaving with the other two unknown men who were with us from the Adela Mansion. I still didn't have any idea of who they were and nobody bothered to tell me. I looked around the group and saw that my brother and Charlotte were walking together, and Sam and Ian were as well. The only person left was Nick, oh well he would have to do.

I walked up to him and tapped on his shoulder saying "Hey!".

He looked towards me and replied with a smile. That was weird, Nick and quiet that was impossible. And that was coming from somebody who only knew him for a matter of days.

I ignored his odd behavior and said "Do you have any idea who those men are?".

"Who them?" he said pointing towards them. "They're Stephen's men. They were able to get in contact with some of Russo's people, and they told us Russo requested to see Stephen and you. The rest of us, we're just here for leverage" said Nick with a forced smile.

Just then somebody bumped into me waving a piece of paper in front of me and said " An bhfuil a fhios agat cen ait a bhfaighidh tu an seoladh seo?".

Do you know where to find this address?

I looked at the woman and tried to reply back to her "I'm sorry I don't understand".

I waved my hands and shook my head in a gesture of saying no, but by the looks of her face she didn't get anything out of that. Nick took the paper and read it carefully.

" Go direach agus cas at dehis" said Nick with a very fluent accent.

Go straight then turn right.

The woman smiled and said the only thing that I could understand "thank you". Nick handed the paper back to her and she went on her way.

Nick started to walk again with a weary face.

"How did you know that?" I asked.

"What?" he said.

"Don't play dumb with me. How did you know what the lady was saying, and how on earth did you reply to her" I said.

"Would you listen if I told you that I don't like talking about it?" he asked.

I opened my mouth to say something but thought it would be better not to say anything. He seemed hurt by my question, and I didn't like Nick like this. I continued to walk with him down the street behind Stephen, who seemed to stop talking to his other men and was leading the way.

I decided to walk with him since Nick looked like he needed a moment. I ran thorough the two strong men and up to Stephen.

"Hey" I said panting.

No response. Oh great, Nick was better than this.

Stephen sighed and said "What do you want Miss Prior".
