Marie Cousins P.O.V

Georgie walked me over to his place.

"Mom we're going to my room!" Georgie called out, and we sped walked into his room and sat down in his bed. His room was pretty messy, but I ignored it.

"Hope ya don't mind the mess." Georgie said as he shut his bedroom door.

"I've seen worse." I said, my mind going back to Codey and his messy beach house.

"Okay so how much do you know about essay writing?" I asked.

"Uh not much." He replied.

"Don't worry. Have you at least picked a topic yet?"

"Nope." He was playing with a yo-yo as he spoke.

Even I have picked a topic. Not an exciting one, but a topic more or less.

"I'm writing mine in school uniforms." I said.

"Alright guess I'll do that. Can I copy you?"

"No!"

"Can I at least use that topic?"

"It's up to you."

"Am I even gonna use this knowledge in life? Why don't I just be a male model?"

I looked at him with a blank expression.

"What? I'm good looking!" He said loudly.

"Okay focus on your male model stuff later." I said rolling my eyes playfully.

"I'm just sayin."

"Okay how about we take a little break."

"Fine by me."

"So what do you wanna do?"

"7-11?"

"Sure."

Georgie got his money, and I swung my purse over my shoulder.

"Mom we're going to 7-11!" Georgie called out before we left the house.

"Okay!" Georgie's mom replied from the kitchen.

We stepped down the stairs and onto the sidewalk. It was still pretty warm outside, even though it was fall. The 7-11 wasn't too far, maybe ten minutes. It's not that far from my house either.

Once we got our slurpees, we walked outside into the warm air again.
