Marie Cousins P.O.V
The bell rang and Sheldon and I proceeded to English class. I sat in my usual seat, and this time Georgie beat me to class. Man that's weird. I didn't want to ignore him, but I didn't really want to talk to him either. The being friends thing is working for now, but who knows how it'll work in the future.

"Hey Marie." Georgie said suddenly, making me break contact from the wood of my desk.

"Oh hi." I replied.

I fiddled my pencil with my fingers until the class officially started.

Once English was over, it was math time.

"Are you nervous for the test?" Georgie asked as I collect my stuff off the desk.

"Not really. Are you?" I asked in reply.

"Well yeah. If I fail I'm off the football team."

"Well good luck."

We walked down the hall, and I took a nervous breath.

"What's wrong? You nervous for the test now?" Georgie smirked.

"No it's just- never mind you won't get it."

"Okay."

It was silent until we walked into the math room.

The desks were all spread out, and I quickly skidded over to my desk and sat down, and tried to keep my eyes away from the door. I tried not to think about the fight I had with Kim.

I let out a nervous sigh when I saw that she was walking in the room.

She gave me a glance and sat down in her desk.

The teacher handed out the test, and just as I was looking it over, Sheldon said he was done.

Kim had her lips pursed ignoring everything as her eyes were completely locked on the page. I tried to focus, but I couldn't seem to keep my mind focused on the questions. It was hard to watch some people struggle. Especially Georgie.

~

We all handed in our tests, and finally my hands stopped shaking. I understood everything on the test, but the pressure of it was eating at me. Kim left the room quickly without even giving me a glance and went right to hang out with Jared. There's only one way I know how to deal with this.

~

I got my lunch and walked outside and saw empty bleachers. I ran over to them quickly, and sat down on the top bench. I looked out at the distance past the football field while I ate my lunch. Kim is probably hanging out and kissing her boyfriend, Sheldon is probably doing some sort of crazy equations, and Georgie is probably doing god knows what with all his crazy weirdo jock friends. Maybe I need to get more friends. The only ones I have that I still talk to are Georgie, Sheldon, and my fish. Making new friends can't be that hard can it?

After I finished my lunch, I threw out the wrappers and got back up onto the bleachers, and put my music in. I put the song "Ashes" on.

I took my earbuds out immediately when I saw Georgie standing there.

"Dude you scared me how long have you been standing there?" I said and put my music away.

"What are you doin' out here all alone?" Georgie asked as he climbed the bleachers and sat beside me.

"Nothing." I mumbled under my breath.

"Why aren't you sitting with Kim?"

"Kim hates me."

"What? Why?"

"Cause I don't approve of her boyfriend."
