Marie Cousins P.O.V
I could hear yelling from downstairs. The tears were building behind my eyeballs, but there was a barrier that would stop them from falling. Both Georgie and I jumped when we heard a giant door slam, followed by a loud whale.

"They tried I know they did. Promise me we'll never give up that easy?" I asked, this time making eye contact with Georgie.

"Of course we won't give up that easy." He replied and kissed my forehead.

I fell silent still thinking about that god damn party. I can't go. I made my choice.

I shook the thought from my head, and just looked at Georgie as he planted a kiss on my lips, which was interrupted by my mom barging in.

"What the hell is going on here?" My mom asked angrily.

"Mom..." I started, grabbing a tight grip on Georgie's hand.

"Marie can I talk to you in the hall for a minute?" She said, still loud and snappy, but a little less aggressive.

"Fine."

I let go of Georgie's hand, but I felt a bit of fear as our hands slipped from each other.

My mom lead me into the hallway, and slammed the door.
"YOU KNOW WHATS HAPPENING WITH ME AND YOUR DAD! I THOUGHT YOU'D HAVE ENOUGH RESPECT FOR ME NOT TO GO KISSING BOYS IN MY HOUSE!" She yelled.

"MOM THATS SO UNFAIR! JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE AT THE END OF A RELATIONSHIP DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T HAVE A BOYFRIEND! PEOPLE ARE ENDING RELATIONSHIPS ALL THE TIME AND YOU KNOW WHAT? THERES STILL PEOPLE THAT HAVE RELATIONSHIPS! I screamed back tears strolling down my face.

My mom stayed silent, and I turned back to my room to see a pissed off Georgie standing there, staring at my mother, not looking too happy.

"FINE GEORGIE! GO KISS MY DAUGHTER BECAUSE YOUR LOVE LIFE IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN MINE!" My mom snapped and shot him the finger.

"MOM!" I yelled the loudest.

"YOU SHOULD BE SIDING WITH ME NOT HIM!"

"MOM SHUT UP!"

I ran back into my bedroom, and Georgie shut the door as quickly as possible.
