Marie Cousins P.O.V
I quickly packed up my stuff at my locker, and headed outside to get the bus. I put my hair behind my ears, along with my earbuds in, and waited patiently for the bus.

"Heya." Kim said loudly as she walked up to me.

"Hey Kim." I said, slowly taking the earbuds out of my ears.

"So."

"What?"

"Have you kissed Georgie yet?"

"No, I haven't Kim."

Kim made missy faces and I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Bus." I said, and got out my bus pass, and Kim did the same.

The bus pulled up, and we stepped on and swiped our passes. We sat down at the back of the bus.

"So how was your afternoon classes?" Kim asked.

"They were okay." I replied, picking at my nails.

"You alright?" Kim asked.

"Yeah fine. I just really miss the summer."

"I know. It was the best summer you'd ever had."

"I could just relive it over and over again."

"Please tell me you at least deleted "All Summer Long" from your playlist."

"No I still have it on there."

"That was your summer song. Find a new song."

"No."

"Whatever."

"Kim!"

"I just think you need to move on."

"It's not as easy as you think."

"Well it's my stop I gotta go bye Marie." Kim said, and didn't even give me another glance before leaving the bus.

Maybe Kim is right. Maybe I'm stuck in the summer. Maybe I need to move on. Well not maybe I do need to move on.

Soon enough I ended up at my stop, and I walked to my house, and I saw a different car in my driveway.

Turns out it was just a friend of my father.

"Hey." I said to everyone there. There was a women and a large man.

Of course I had no clue who this people even where, but I'm not surprised. I swear my dad has a million friends, and I only know about 20% of them exist.

"I have some calls to make I'll be in the house." I said.

"Okay." My dad replied.

I walked into the house quickly, and went right for the phone.

I dialled Kim's number.

"Hey Kim." I said into the phone when I heard Kim's voice.

"Hey Marie."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Okay "

"I'm sorry about today."

"I need to move on."

"Yes you do."

"So how do I do that?"

"You'll figure it out. Anyways I gotta go."

"Bye?"

I hung up the phone, and heard a knock on my door. I looked out the window to see who it was, and it was Georgie. How did he get here? I opened the door.

"Hey how'd you get here?" I asked.

"My Grandma drove me. She knows your parents I guess."

"Okay well come sit down. Do you want a soda or anything?"

"No thanks. I'm good."

"Well I'm going to get a lemonade." I said and walked into the kitchen pairing myself a glass.

I sat down on the couch beside him, and he noticed a photo album sitting on the coffee table.

"What's this?" He asked while grabbing the album.

"That's my summer photo album." I said.

He opened it, and his eyes widened.

"What?" I asked, taking the album away.

"Nothing." He said all defensive.

I rolled my eyes and set the album back on the table.
