This was originally a newsies oneshot I had written so if you see any "jacks" or other names you aren't familiar with, my mistake. But hey Hogwarts au.
It seemed as if of all places Damian Wayne had been to, nothing had ever been as dreadful as the library of Hogwarts. From being filled with boring books about history, to the fact that most of the information in the books were useless to him, Damian Wayne truly hated the library. If it wasn't for the fact that Damian realized his lousy History of magic teacher didn't teach all the information he'd need to pass his exams,he would have spent the entirety of his school years without stepping foot into the library; unfortunately, Damian's ambition knew that if he wanted to score an outstanding on his History of magic o.w.ls, he was going to have to do some learning of his own.
His first attempt of becoming more educated was asking his brother Dick Grayson, if he could tutor him on the topic.
"Damian, as much as I'd love to tutor you, I have a bunch of studying of my own to do." Dick told him truthfully.
"Grayson!" Damian groaned.
"If you cant tutor me, that means I'll have to go... that I'll have to go" Damian couldn't speak; he was too disgusted by the thought of him actually going to the library.
"To the what Dami?Oh, you mean the library!" Dick chuckled.
" dami boy, it's just a building filled with books that help you with your education and understanding of things. There's nothing bad about it!"
"Easy for you to say. I'd rather run into the forbidden forest than ever step into that tedious building."Damian scowled.
"Damian, it's simple. Just go to the library next weekend, pick up a book about the history of magic, read it, take notes about it, and then go back to the dungeons. There's nothing deep about it."Dick articulated.
"But next weekend is the hogsmeade trip! I can't miss that." Damian said.
"It's either you miss a hogsmeade trip, or you miss a quidditch practice. It's your call Dami boy."
Dick was right. Next weekend was the only free time Damian would have. With all the quidditch matches coming up, he knew the slytherins needed all the practice they could get if they wanted to win. He was defeated.
"Fine. But if it doesn't work, you're giving up your quidditch practices to tutor me." Damian remarked.
"Deal."

It seemed like the week had passed in a flash. Before he knew it, his brothers were all dressed to attend the trip.
"Damian! If you don't hurry up, we're going to leave without you." Tim told him. he shook Damian's shoulders in attempt to wake him up but was pushed away by the sleepy boy.
"Mmm...I'm not going." Damian mumbled into his pillow.
"Why not? You never miss these trips." Tim asked.
"Mmmm...library..."Damian spoke into his pillow.
"Damian going to library?Jeez do pigs fly now too??" Jason cackled.
