"As you know, you are all attending an all boy school. You also know that this is theatre, an elective as mentioned in syllabus that will be pushing boundaries. With that being said, I have placed the casting list for this springs play. I have taken into consideration you're grade in my class as well as what genre of acting you thrive in." Ms. Donelson spoke through her mug of coffee.
The boys all scurried over to the wall, desperate to see which production they would be reenacting and what parts they would be playing.
Damian Wayne, the boy who considered himself the most talented person in theatre pushed his way in the front of the crowd of boys in front of the list, earning a "watch it!" from someone behind him. His fingers wandered from the bottom of the list, gradually moving it towards the top.
"This springs production will be William Shakespeare's very own Romeo and Juliet. Like I said, this is an all boy school, meaning this version of Romeo and Juliet will include two boys, Romeo and Julian." Ms. Donelson announced once more.
"I got the role of Julian's nurse, sweet. Whatta bout you Jonny boy ?" Samuel Alexander said with pride, making his way towards his best friend Jon.
"I should probably find that out huh." The blue eyed boy chuckled before the two made their way towards to roster. Some boy who they had chosen to ignore ,due to the fact that they didn't really care about anyone other than each other, was in the front looking at the names. Jon told the rest of the crowd 'excuse me' before doing the same as the boy at the front.
'Capulet, Chris Perkins.... Tybalt, miles... Romeo... Jon Kent.... Romeo Jon Kent.?!' Jon thought to himself.
"I landed Romeo dude!" Jon announced.
"Sweet, this calls for a celebratory take-in and video games in my dorm tonight." Sam said before giving Jon a 'bro' hug.
"What I'm Julian?! That's impossible I demand an explanation." The cocky boy at the front spoke.
"It came to my attention that your dramatic attitude and more, how do I say without offending you, 'delicate' ways would compliment Mr.Kents charm and strength.
I do believe I made an excellent choice Mr.Wayne."
"Ugh!"
The bell rang signaling that theatre had finished before any more complaining could be heard.
"Before you leave, be sure to grab your script. I expect you all to memorize your lines for at least five scenes. We'll be running from the first scene tomorrow."

"I can't believe I'm going to play that whiney boy's nurse." Sam spoke from his script.
"Get this, in act 1 scene five Romeo ditches Rogelio as soon as he sets his eyes on Julian. I'll trade you roles if it means I don't have to deal with him."
"Haha you and Wayne that'd be hysterical." Sam laughed. Jon's face was full of disgust and sushi.
"Imagine if you guys have to kiss, god that'd just be amazing. I'd pay good money to see that." Sam joked, using his chopsticks to pick a roll.
"Don't you ever say such a thing. I'd rather swim in the river during winter than ever lock lips with Damian Wayne."
"I'm sure Ms. donelson would never force you guys to reenact that."
