"Just pay attention to me !!!" Damian giggled as he held Jon's hands in between his own.
Jon looked up at Damian, giving a small grin, before returning his attention back to where his hands were.
"I can't believe you've never played slide!"
The curly haired boy gave a simple shrug of the shoulders , in which Damian replied to with even more giggles.
"It's simple, I'll slide our hands and then from there it's pretty much patty cake."
Jon gave Damian a confused look.
"Just pay attention!!"
Jon tried in his best abilities to remember the steps Damian was telling him, repeating every word and breath , making sure he was going to be able to get through one game of slide with Damian.
"Ready??"
Jon nodded and with that, Damian slid his hand against Jon's: signifying the start of the game of slide .
For a brief moment, they were successful in playing slide, but only for a brief moment. The moment ended as soon as Jon clashed his hands with Damian at the incorrect time. He attempted to pull his hand back but Damian held it.
It was silent for a few moments and not the usual silence the two boys were used to.
Jon pouted, hoping Damian would look at him and giggle once more.
But he didn't.
Instead, he stood there looking at Jon's hand , which still remained in his own.
He was thinking.
The worry was growing inside of Jon. He thought Damian was mad at him for messing up their game. Maybe he finally realized how annoying Jon was. Maybe he was about to-
Jon's thoughts were interrupted by the feeling of Damian's fingers being intertwined between his own.
Damian gazed at Jon before placing a soft kiss on the other boy's hand. He let out a soft giggle which caused Jon to smile.
