The gang is back together and have solved a few more mysteries. Our couples, Sammi and Fred & Daphne and Brady, are doing great and seem to stay together. What happens when a mystery at the museum causes problems and doubts. Especially with Heather...
Sammi sat on a chair holding her hand and trying to shield it from anyone who would be concerned. She felt it sting but she wouldn't let that get in her way. Fred and the others, beside her brother and dog, were looking around for clues. Her brother and his dog had went to sit in shame somewhere. She knew they felt bad about what happened.
She felt another sting and hissed under her breath. She felt a hand on her shoulder and she looked up to see Fred looking at her with concern. "Are you ok?" He asked as she nodded not trusting her voice. "Are you sure?" He asked as he kneeled in front of her and tried to grab her hand with the cut. She pulled her hand back and he raised his eyebrows.
He quickly grabbed her hand and looked at it. Sammi looked down as Fred inspected her hand. He gasped as he saw how large the cut was. He quickly went to get some stuff to clean her cut and get the glass out. Sammi kept her head down not looking up. Fred came back and removed the glass before he started to clean her wound. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked and Sammi bit her lip.
She looked to the side and before she could answer Heather Jasper How came over. "Fred, can we gat a few questions?" She said and Fred smiled as he went to talk to her. "Fred!" Sammi said as she used her not hurt hand to grab Fred's. "I don't think that's a good idea" she said and looked down. "Don't worry Sammi. Besides the press loves us" he said and Sammi rolled her eyes before she went over to her brother and waited for them to finish. _______________________________ It was the next day and the gang hadn't had much sleep. Sammi had her mind plagued with words. She couldn't help but think that some of this was her fault but she knew her brother and his dog felt worse. She had woke up early that morning to find Shaggy asleep on the couch with his face stained with tears.
She pulled the blanket up on him and let him sleep more. She went to the kitchen to make some breakfast when she heard a knock on the door. She stopped doing what she was doing and opened the door. On the other side was her boyfriend, Fred. "Hey Fred" she said with no enthusiasm at all.
"Gee don't sound to excited" he said as he came in the door. "What are you doing here?" Sammi asked as she let a little smile slip. " I came by to check on you" Fred said as he hugged Sammi from behind. She smiled and turned around. "You do realize that Shaggy is in the other room and could use some talking to" Sammi said as she pointed to her passed out brother.
"I'll talk to him when he wakes up" Fred said kissing Sammi on the cheek. "What are you making?" Fred asked as Sammi went back to cooking. "Scrambled eggs and bacon. Want some?" She asked before she heard a groan and saw Shaggy walking into the kitchen. "What are you two doing up?" He asked as he went to the fridge.
Shaggy then noticed it was Fred in the room with his sister did a double take. "What are you doing here?" He asked and Fred chuckled as he rolled his eyes. "Checking on your sister" Fred said before Sammi went to go get changed.

Sammi got back to the kitchen to find her boyfriend and her brother talking. "Hey! What're you guys talking about?" Sammi asked and Fred smiled. "How about we go on a date?" Fred said and Sammi looked at him. "Really?" She asked and Fred nodded. "Well I mean not tonight, but sometime this week" Fred said and Sammi nodded smiling.
Sammi's alarm went off telling her she needed to leave and she nudged her brother. "We need to go" Shaggy said and the three, and Scooby, headed down to their headquarters. Daphne, Velma, and Brady were already there and waiting.
Daphne turned on the new and Heather Jasper How appeared on the screen. "The higher the pedestal, the harder the fall. And Mystery Inc. fell far in the embarrassing debacle that tarnished the reputation of the once-great gang. It was an utter disaster as two of the gang's key members.." She said before a video of Shaggy and Scooby being dragged around was shown on TV.
"Norville "Shaggy" Rogers and Scoobert "Scooby-Doo" caused untold damage to Coolsville's hottest new tourist attraction which took a full two years to complete" Heather continued and Sammi looked back into the kitchen to see Scooby drop his head in shame behind the kitchen counter.
"When asked for comment, Fred Jones, leader of Mystery Inc., said this: Little old Coolsville can solve its problems without us" Heather said before the video of Fred earlier in the night played. "Fred jumped up from the seat he was on and scoffed. "I didn't say that. .... I mean I did but that's out of context" Fred said before Brady walked up and shut the TV off.
"It's all my fault" Velma said as she looked down in shame. "I'm the one who told Shaggy and Scooby to get the ropes" Velma continued and Sammi put a hand on Velma's shoulder. She had put her bad hand on first but then changed sides and hands.
"No, Velma, it's my fault. I should have checked that they were tied before I let go" Daphne said before Brady shook his head. "No Daph, it's mine. I should have made sure the ropes were tied together instead of to Shaggy and Scooby" Brady said and Daphne went over to hug her boyfriend. "It's my fault too. We all know how Shaggy and Scooby can be" Fred said before Sammi elbowed Fred in the side.
"Ow. What was that for?" He asked and Sammi glared at him. "That is my brother you are talking about" Sammi said before she crossed her arms and looked away. "Sorry but you know it's true" Fred said and Sammi huffed. "Look, we just need to stay strong, in control, and work fast" Fred said and grabbed Sammi's hand lacing their fingers together.
It wasn't long before Sammi stared to smile and nodded. "Come on, gang. Let's get to the lab. We'll figure a way out of this Jurassic jumble" Velma said and the gang, Besides Shaggy and Scooby, went into the lab trying to figure out what is going on. ————————————————— Hey guys.
