Annabeths POV
I had just awoken and I was out of it. I was seeing double and just felt like throwing up. I got out of bed and went out the Athena cabin. I got attacked by this new camper and I couldn't make his face out. He pulled me over near the creek and put a knife to my throat.
"You will do exactly as I say or else." on the last word he pulled the knife closer to my neck, slightly cutting me.
I heard Percy yelling with anger. The boy looked up and I looked as well and saw Percy had willed the entire creek to swivel up, swirling and shimmering with rage. Percy hurled the water at the camper, making sure I didn't get wet or hurt, and the next thing I knew, the camper was on the ground. Percy grabbed him and pushed him against a tree. He punched him on the face and the campers nose was bleeding and he had a black eye. I was too shocked to say anything. The blood from my neck was seeping its way out even more, making me even more dizzy, until I finally passed out, but I felt the warm arms of my Percy right before my fall, as always.
When I woke up there was a bandage around my neck and Percy was sitting next to me, with his eyes grim, shining in the moonlight. I gently sat up and kissed on the cheek.
" What did he say to you?" he asked.
"All he said was do as I say and more junk like that."
"I had a nightmare last night of a man, more like a god but not one of the ones we know, he was about to kill you. I couldn't move and it killed me to see you get killed." he probably would have said more but he choked on his tears which were sparkling on his cheeks. I made him face me and kissed on the lips strongly. He kissed back with more passion, until I pulled back. I felt worn out, as if I had just ran a marathon, or held the sky on my shoulders. I laid back down and Percy grabbed my hand and we both fell asleep like that.
Percys POV
The next morning, I had woken up first. I squeezed Annabeths hand in reassurance since she was having a nightmare. I kissed her nose which made her wake up. She smiled groggily. We both got ready to go do the dining pavilion for breakfast, until we saw him. I stopped in my tracks and wanted to kill him. Annabeth looked at me.
"Don't worry, Chiron dealt with him last night, he wont be doing anything like that again." she said.
We went down and ate breakfast. The rest of the day we happily stared deeply into each others eyes, feeling like we were the only two alive, a feeling you can only ever feel with someone you truly love.
