PIPERS POV
I got all the movies, blankets, snacks, and drinks ready on the table. This was going to be the first sleepover of the year, and of course also the best! I invited the best people in all the world; Leo, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Annabeth, and Percy.
The party started at 7:00 and it was 6:45. I called Annabeth to see how she was doing.
She picked up after a few rings.
"Hey, whats up." She said. There was something in her voice that seemed different. Whatever it was, it wasn't good.
"Hey, do you need me to come pick you up or is Per-"
"I'm fine, I'll just drive my dads car." She cut me off right when I was about to say Percy. There was something definitely wrong.
"Okay, well, see you in a few minutes."
"Bye." She hung up. Yup, there was something wrong for sure.
I looked at the time. 7:50. 10 minutes. Well, I guess I could try the snacks and make sure their good. Yeah, that's why I'm eating them. And I started stuffing my face with the popcorn.
HAZELS POV
Frank and I got out of the car and walked up to the door. I knocked on the door and was met with Piper who had popcorn and a small chocolate stain on her shirt.
She noticed I was kinda staring and wiped the popcorn off and blushed lightly. She smiled.
"Well, come in!" We walked in laughing together.
A few minutes later, Leo and Jason came. We waited for another 10 minutes until Annabeth and Percy. I realized that Percy's eyes were glassy in a way, like they were hiding a pain of some sort. I decided not to ask but I realized that Annabeth had the same look. I hope this isn't what I think it is.
"My dads car broke down and I had to call Percy. Sorry." Annabeth said and looked down.
"It's fine, anyways, what movie should we watch?" Piper said and started to get out all the movies.
We decided on watching IT because we just wanted to get a good scare into Leo. He was screaming or crying the whole movie. Me and Piper couldn't contain our laughter for much longer. After the movie ended, we just sat around and talked for a little.
"Hey, Annabeth, whats up between you and Percy?" Piper asked. I gave her a look like "Oh my gods why did you ask that now shes gonna kill us all!" kind of look. She just shrugged.
"We've been getting into some, er, arguments." And with that, we left the subject.
"Hey, guys, how about some truth or dare!" Jason said. We all agreed even though it was kinda stupid for a sleepover.
"OK, my turn first." Leo raised his hand. He scanned the room until his eyes landed on Piper.
"Pipes, truth or dare?"
"There is no way that I'm doing a dare from you, so, truth."
"Ugh, fine. Out this group, whose the hottest guy?" Leo smirked.
"Well we all know its not you." I said and a few people snickered. Leo shot me a glare.
"Jason, I guess." Piper mumled just enough for everyone to hear. Leo wiggled his eyebrows at Jason.
"Yeah, yeah, okay. My turn." I said and looked around the room. I had completely forgotten that Percy was even here, so I asked him.
"Percy, truth or dare?" Percy looked at me. I smirked.
