This is an AU story
ANNABETHS POV
The audience was clapping as me and the other dancers did our final bow. Percy, Piper, Leo, Jason, Nico, Hazel, and Frank were all there cheering, even though Leo was the loudest. Thalia couldn't make it due to her homework but Hazel sent her the videos of me dancing. My dad was more towards the back cheering.
I went down the stairs after changing and was greeted by Percy.
"You were amazing!" He laughed and picked me up and kissed me. He put me down so I could hug my dad.
"This definitely calls for a dinner out!" My dad said. Percy and I agreed but the rest had to go home. Percy offered to go home too but my dad said he should come and he had a suspicious glint in his eyes. If he was going to do what I think he is....
We went to Applebees since it was my favorite. We ate and talked for a bit until my dad started talking again.
"So, Percy, what are your intentions with my daughter?"
Oh gods here we go.
"To make her happy and grow with her."
"Why exactly are you dating her?"
"Because she makes me happy, happier than I have ever been in years. She makes me a better person. I wouldn't know what I would have done without her by my side."
"Ok, when's the last time you were intimate with someone or in a serious relationship."
"Dad, no!" I yelled. But he waved me off as if saying that this was important.
"Never been intimate with anyone but I was in a relationship for a few hours when I was five but other than that, that's it."
We laughed at that.
"Alright well, I approve of you. You seem like a great guy. But remember that if you hurt her in any way at all, your over."
"Dad!" Gods he's so embarrassing.
We finished dinner just talking about what we wanted to do in the future. We finished up and my dad and Percy split the check since Percy refused to let my dad pay the whole check. I left a tip.
We went out to the parking lot and my dad went to get his car.
"I got approved!" Percy laughed. I kissed him and he hugged my waist but every time we heard a car, we parted just in case it was my dad. My dad drove us to Percy's house then back to ours.
On our way to our house my dad started to talk again.
"Annabeth, hows Percy treating you?"
"He's treating me perfectly. He never forces me to do something I don't want to, he's such a gentleman, he's just so perfect and amazing. I couldn't ask for someone better." I didn't want to get too emotional since my dad would be uncomfortable.
"If he ever does anything wrong I w-"
"Dad!" I cut him off. "I'm not a little girl anymore. I can take care of myself."
"I know, I know. I just don't want to see you get hurt."
"Percy would never hurt me, ever."
"Ok but if h-"
"Dad!" I laughed.
"Ok I'll stop." He laughed too.
"I love you." I said.
"I love you too Annie."
Yeah, yeah, I know not much Percabeth but I wanted to write something a little bit different. Again, sorry that some stories have been short lately. I've been really busy but I'm still writing don't worry. Don't forget to comment, follow, and vote. Thanks for reading! ~Eden
