NICE TO MEET YOU

Jongin's POV

This moment with you
If the time can be stopped
I want to be a star that protects you
Even in the invisible place

A star that floating in the daytime which protects you—

I read that part again. I read it once again baka sakali na may maidugtong ako. How could I continue this thing?! Ni hindi ko nga rin alam kung bakit ako nagsusulat because in the first place, I refused them.

I grabbed the notebook and went to the library to look for my mom. And luckily, she was there, sitting, wearing her eyeglasses while holding a book. She must be reading. I closed the door without even making noise and called out,

"Ma."

She looked at me. "Kai,"

I smiled at her as I sat beside her. "Hi, Ma."

She chuckled before she closed the book. "Do you need anything?"

I pouted my lips and handed to her the notebook. Kinuha naman niya iyon.

"We have an output in Contemporary. Eh, I am one of those lates, kami na lang ang ginroup ni Mrs. Cortez. My groupmates explained to me what we are going to do and they choose me to be the composer." Kwento ko kay Mama. Before I could think, naramdaman ko na lang na may dumapo na mahinang impact sa ulo ko. "Ma!" I reacted.

"Nalate ka? What did you do during that time huh?" My mom blurted out.

Napakamot ako ng batok and down my head shyly. I don't know what to say.

She sighed. "Anyway, ano ba 'tong sinusulat mo?" She asked before she read the lyrics, loudly.

"A lyrics, 'Ma." I answered. "Magpapatulong ako sayo. Hindi ko na alam kung paano na dugtungan."

I glanced at my mom. Her attention is now on the notebook. I don't know what's in her mind. Parang ang lalim na ng iniisip niya.

"'Ma?"

"Even if you cant see me," She stated out of the blue.

Napakunot-noo pa ako. She's now acting weird. "Ma?"

She turn her gaze to me and smiled. "Even if you can't see. Can't see me perfectly. 'Yun. 'Yun ang idugtong mo."

Binalik niya sakin ang notebook and told me na isulat na para hindi na makalimutan.

"Thanks, 'Ma."

She place her palm on my cheek. "You're always welcome, anak."

I felt her love. Always.

* * *

I wear my usual expression as I entered the school. Of course, every students avoids me. The troublemaker guy, Kim Jongin.

This morning, I did not attend the three straight class. Nasa practice room ako and obviously, nagp-practice ng sayaw for the output. Lumabas lang ako nang mag-lunch break na. I head towards at the cafeteria.

Holding the notebook as I roam my eyes around of the cafeteria. Boom!
