STARLIGHT

Baekhyun's POV

"W-wag na lang kaya? Okay lang talaga sakin na ako yung tutugtog ng piano." pakiusap niya sakin.

We are currently walking at the corridor, heading to the music room. Kakatapos lang ng class namin sa Literature.

I stopped from walking and she did the same thing. As I inhale, I turned my face on her and smiled. I lean a bit. "Ayaw mo naman siguro napapansin ka niya, 'no?" I pertain to Jongin.

She averted her eyes and push me slightly. "A-Ang lapit mo. Tara na nga." At nauna siya sakin sa paglalakad.

I just chuckled and followed her.

We  reached our destination and to my relieve, walang gumagamit ng music room. Unlike yesterday, it was crowded here because of the Labyrinth's fangirls, maybe they knew that my bandmates had a practice. So ayun, Nanami and I ended in not-so-well voice practice.

I sit infront of the piano and started playing it. Sinabi ko naman sa kanya na ako muna ang tutugtog ng piano since tinuturuan ko siyang kumanta.

"Sing," I told her.

"H-Ha?" She reacted.

Tumigil ako. Tumingin ako sa kanya and I flashed a genuine smile. Hindi ko alam pero pagdating sa nerd na kagaya niya, lagi ko siyang nginingitian. I will turn my gaze on her, I smile. When she will receives blunts, shouts, I smile to comfort her. Just a simple gesture she makes, I also smile. And when I think about her, I smile. So tell me? Am I in nuts?!

"Yung part mo sa Starlight. We don't have a nice practice yesterday dahil maingay." I told her. "Ayoko lang na lagi ka niyang napapansin."

"A-Ano?"

I shook my head as my answered. "Lets start,"

"T-Teka..." I didn't let her finish and I started to play again. She have no choice  but to sing her part kahit sintunado siya.

I am not the kind of person whose impatient but I need to gain my patience just to teach her.

"Hey, Nanami." She looked at me. "Sing along with me, okay?"

"S-Sa may part ko ba?" She asked. Why she's always look afraid?

I nod my head. "Wait for your part."

Sinabayan ko na ng kanta habang tumutugtog ako ng piano. I started on intro 'til to Nanami's part. Ang ginawa ko, hinina ko ang boses ko para marinig siya.

A star that floating in the daytime which protects you... She sang.

I catch my breath as I heard her voice along with me. I did not let her notice me why I reacted like that. She really has a voice.

"B-Baekhyun?"

I'm not with myself when I looked at her. "You... You really have a voice, Nanami."

She avoid her eyes and she blink thrice.

"Kantahin mo yung part mo na hindi kita sasabayan o hindi mo ako sasabayan." seryosong utos ko na sa kanya.

She bowed down her head and played with her fingers. Damn that mannerism! Napapansin ko na ginagawa niya yan kapag nahhot-seat siya.

She is now breathing heavily. "I-I don't have to."

Marahas na napatayo ako at lumapit sa kanya. "No. You have to, Nanami. Why are you so afraid? What are you afraid of?" I asked her and hold her both shoulder that made her to look up.
