Nang nakapasok na kami sa bahay nagsihiyawan silang lahat. I even saw my own brothers smiling!
What the hell does this mean?!
Chase came up to us bringing a glass of champagne while sipping on one. He gave Greyson the other glass and raised his glass.
"everyone, let us congratulate the only suitor of our princess who have impressed me and my bros. Hear! Hear!" they clingked their glasses with one another.
Ano to?! Engagement party?! Nababaliw na ba to sila?
"good game bro." Chase said and nodded at Greyson.
"good game." He nodded in response.
"hindi ba sobrang aga pa para sa champagne kuya?" I asked him as we followed him in the dining hall.
Nakita kong isa-isang nagsi-upuan ang mga pinsan ko at ang mga sullivan. There's a reason why it's called a dining hall. It can accomodate 20 persons in one sitting.
I sat in my usual place at the right most part of the table, next to my brother chase who is sitting in the center chair at umupo naman sa tabi ko si Greyson.
Mom and dad aren't home. They went to Brazil for some business matters.
Chase made my cousins sit in between with the Sullivans. On the other side, Ava sat on the center chair, facing my brother directly.
Next to us is Jace and Valerie. Sabay silang tumawa, mukhang ginamit nanaman ni Jace ang mga pick-up lines niya.
While Jeremy and Angela sat next to each other.
Magkatabi naman syempre ang mag jowang si Leia at Toby. Sinusubuan ni Toby ng fresh fruit si Leia.
I can see from here Liv's perfectly white teeth on the other side of the table smiling widely at Brent.
Laki ng ngiti sa bruha!
Avy and Nina sat in between Adam and Aaron. The four of them were talking and smiling too.
Damon sat next to Gabby and Third sat next to Izzie, they were happily eating while having a conversation.
"hey." Greyson caught my attention.
"hmm?" liningon ko siya.
"kumain ka na.. O baka gusto mong subuan din kita kagaya ng ginagawa ni Toby?" he smirked.
"binigyan ako ng Diyos ng dalawang kamay para gamitin ito. Kaya no thanks." I flashed a sarcastic and sweet looking smile.
"uhhm, Greyson," sabay kaming napalingon kay kuya. "ano nga ulit ang course mo?"
"Engineering po. Civil." his voice sounded with so much seriousness and respect. Ang galing talagang umacting ng isang to! I rolled my eyes in my mind.
"first year ka pa lang din?"
Grey nodded in reply.
"I believe your family's company is doing good in the industry?"
Oh well, here goes my brother with his business talk.
"well yes. But not as good as your family's company. Ikaw ba naman namamahala as engineering head." what a suck up. I thought in my head.
"My dad's been looking up to the achievements of your corporation, he dreams our company would grow and nourish too, throughout the years."
The Sullivan's company just started 5 years ago in the industry as a group of contractors and since then they've grown and now they're one of the leading group of contractors. at nagsimula na silang mag expand sa business nila, nagsusupply na rin sila ng mga construction materials.
