Chapter 15
"Bwesit! Paano nga to ulit?" Tanong ni Avy sa akin.
Midterms na namin next monday which is four days from now kaya nagkakaganito si Avy.
"Aves, alam mo yan eh. Tignan mo sticky notes mo. May notes ka dyan." I just said without looking at her at patuloy na sinosolve tong assignment namin na sobrang hirap.
*gggrrrrrrrr*
Nagkatinginan kami ni Avy. I looked at my wristwatch and it says 1:30 pm.
"Holy shit! We missed lunch!" I exclaimed.
Nasa library kasi kami nag-aaral kasi mas madali lang para sa amin kumuha ng nga reference books at hindi na namin kailangan bitbitin pauwi sa bahay. Ang bibigat pa naman.
Sa sobrang focused namin sa pag-aaral nakalimutan naming kumain. We were here for like four hours!
"Let's take a break muna. Let's continue this one sa coffee shop na lang?" I suggested.
"Actually, I have to go take a break somewhere else." She smiled, sheepishly. Parang kinikilig. Kaya naman na gets ko agad.
"May date ka?" I raised my brow. "That's new." Tinarayan ko yung boses ko kaya naman medyo naging worried yung expression niya.
"Fine. You can go. Wag masyadong mag landi Avian ha." She smiled and left.
Iniligpit ko yung mga gamit ko bago pumunta ng coffee shop at umorder na ng pagkain.
Near the big window and the tall aircon and opposite to the coffee art that I admire so much.
Ewan ko. Ang ganda lang talaga tignan.
My order came and I ate happily. Until my phone rang a specific ringtone for a specific person.
"Help." He immediately said as soon as I answered.
"Bakit mo binago ringtone mo? Ano sa tingin mo? Special ka kasi iba yung ringtone mo?" Pagtataray ko sakanya.
"Just leave it be baby. Help me first before you start bickering."
"Ano nanaman nga?"
"Help me study please." I rolled my eyes.
"Pati ba naman study time ko makikisiksik ka?" Inis na tanong ko before sipping from my coffee.
"Kailangan makita ni lolo na good influence ka sa akin okay?" I groaned.
Pinasok mo to kaya panindigan mo..
"Fine. I'm at the coffee—" and he cut me before I could tell him where I am.
Nagkibit balikat na lang ako at nag patuloy kumain.
As I was finishing my sumptuous meal when a pair of hazel brown eyes met mine.
"How the hell do you always know where to find me? Linagyan mo ba ng tracking device tong katawan ko?!" Inis na tanong ko.
"So what if I did?" He said in a very smooth tone and sat in front of me.
I noticed wala siyang dalang libro o bag.
"Where's your stuff? Akala ko magpapatulong ka?" I raised my brow.
"Yeah. It's in the car." He took the spoon and took a chunk of my red velvet cake which earned him a slap in the back of his hands from me.
"Damot neto." Reklamo niya.
"Bakit nasa kotse mo? Kotse mo ba mag-aaral?"
He faked a laugh. "Nakakatawa ka rin eh noh?"
