Prologue: Beginnings and Prophecies
Rome, 'the Eternal city'. The home of gladiators, politics and filled with some of the richest history this world has ever known. There is a legend about how Rome began. Two boys, Remus and Romulus were cast out of their home by their uncle, left alone in the woods to die.
By the Tiber river a lone she-wolf found the two babes and nursed them with her milk. For years they lived with wolves, hunted with wolves, they were wolves more than men. The goddess Diana, goddess of the moon and hunt, gave them the power to transform at will into wolf form-but when the moon was at its full they must pay tribute to her in a hunt.
The babes grew into young boys, and were one day found by an old Shepard, who took them away. They learned of their uncle's treachery, killed him and began to construct the great empire of Rome. But all was not meant to end in harmony. Over a dispute Romulus killed Remus, and the blood feud so began. Remus's family vowed vengeance, and have so since then.
Since that day the lycans have ruled the city, their packs strong and true.
Until the day a prophecy was made. On the night of a blood red moon, a child will be born. This child would be Diana's chosen, marked by both the wolf and the moon. She would reunite the packs under one rule, and make Rome's lycans strong once again.
Ever since that day the two packs have scored all of Rome, and the world searching for the prophesied child. One wishing to kill her, and end the threat of peace, while the other strove to insure her safety.
And so the search continues even to this day . . . .

Kay guys I'll keep short and sweet. This idea kind of came to me when I was flipping through an old history book from when I was in middle school. I love mythology-I love gods and goddesses of any type or verity. The whole magic thing just gets me all crazy. And then I was like-wolves? Werewolves!! I googled and researched until I pretty much got the idea for this little bitty. I really REALLY want COMMENTS! You guys never comment. Do i suck? Should I just delete my account?
