The Prophecy (A Power Rangers Samurai Fan Fic)

New Age

In the Netherworld, aboard Master Xandred's ship, a Nighlok named Serrator stood aboard the ship explaining that the "Sword Age" has past and that a new Age has nearly begun.

    "Maldun, be a lamb and demonstrate the Master Blasters," Serrator said with a smirk.

    Maldun turned to a group of Moogers behind him. They stood in the surf of a blood sand beach so that way they wouldn't dry up from not being in the Sanzu River water. The Moogers growled in anticipation struggling to stand still.

    "Stand still you do-for-nothing punks!" Maldun snarled.

    The Moogers did as told and raised their right arm holding Master Blasters which were fashioned like royal shotguns. A ball of energy was fired from the Master Blasters and were shot so far they past Master Xandred's ship. Despite Octaroo's excitement, Master Xandred only grumbled boringly.

    "Oooh! Those Master Blasters are magnificent!" he exclaimed.

    "Those pieces of scrap metal aren't worth more than Dayu's harmonium," Master Xandred grumbled.

    "Hey! I heard that!" Dayu hissed.

    "I assure you Master, these Master Blasters will surely put those Rangers in their place," Serrator assured.

Ryan POV

I awoke to see Emily still fast asleep. Her eyes slowly opened and she looked around confused as she took in which room she was in.

    "Why am I sleeping in your room?" she asked.

    "You fell asleep during the movie, I didn't want to wake you so I picked you up and put you on my bed," Ryan answered.

    "Sorry for taking up space in your bed."

    "You didn't take up space, considering you were snuggled against me the entire night. Did you know, you're a sleepwalker? You went to my closet and put on one my of my shirts."

    Emily blushed and said, "Wow, that's embarrassing."

    "I thought it was cute."

    She blushed harder and Natalie entered the room.

    "Ah! Scarred for life!" she shouted covering her eyes and quickly exiting the room.

    "I better go, incase the others get the wrong idea," Emily said.

    "Come back anytime," I said as she exits my room.

Once I get shower, dress, and brush my teeth, I exit my room to come face-to-face with a smirking Natalie.

    "Did you and Emily-"

    "No! We were watching a movie, she fell asleep and nothing happened," I explained.

    "Nothing happened last night, but something will happen in the future," she raised an eyebrow looking inbetween me and Emily.

    "Shut up."

    Before lunch could arrive, the alarm blared throughout the house and the Rangers quickly viewed the map.

    "Downtown," Jayden and Natalie said at the same time.

    Natalie glances at me and I raise my eye brows and she rolls her eyes.

3rd Person (Normal POV)

Once the Rangers arrive in downtown, Moogers dashed around the streets firing the Master Blasters and Maldun stood in the middle of the chaos firing absently into the air.

    "What are those things?" Mia asked.

    "Glorified Nighlok guns?" Mike answered puzzled.

    "I'll be back in, twenty seconds, more or less," Ryan said.

    Ryan made the kanji for disappear and he vanished within the air. A Mooger suddenly dissolved into dust and so did another a few moments later. Within seconds, all the Moogers were nothing but piles of dust.

    "How do you do that?" Kevin asked.

    "My katana is made from a special material, so everytime I kill a Nighlok, they turn to dust," Ryan explained.

    "Maybe we should have you in front from now on," Mike said.

    Natalie pulled her bow back carefully looking at her target, Maldun. She released the string and the arrow flew through the air, but Maldun fired his Master Blaster causing the arrow to vanish.

    "Them Sword Age and whatnot is over!" Maldun cried.

    Emily dashed towards Maldun readying to swing her Spin Sword. Ryan disappeared again and quickly crept behind Maldun. Maldun quickly fired at Emily and turned firing at Ryan who was still unseen. The blast sent the two Rangers flying ten feet in the air before landing hard.

    "Guys! The Fire Smasher!" Jayden said.

    Jayden spun the Beetle Disk on his Spin Sword which transformed into a large zanbato. A thin triangle of gold was spread amongst the front of both sides with the kanji for fire. He swung it over his shoulders and held it firmly in his hands as the flames blazed off it.

    "Put your Power Disks in," Jayden ordered.

    "Glad I could lend a hand," Antonio said.

    "Wait, there's not enough," Natalie said.

   As if on cue, an extra spot opened for Natalie's Power Disk and she placed the disk in. The flames blazed furiously and danced along the Fire Smasher. Maldun laughed and his Master Blaster glowed with energy charging up power. Jayden sent the blast of flames towards Maldun and the two blasts collided triggering an explosion knocking them backwards.
