"Hello Ryan," Serrator greeted as he entered the house through a portal.

    Ryan blinked remaining silent.

"Why aren't your pupils black anymore? Must be a side effect from being under my control too long," Serrator stated. "Stand."

Ryan did as ordered standing. He grinned when Serrator wasn't looking knowing the Nighlok wasn't suspicious of his plan. Once Serrator turned Ryan grabbed him with one hand slamming him against the wall causing it to crack.

"So much for that bond," Serrator said sadly.

"Payback sucks doesn't it?" Ryan said.

     "How did you break it?'

"It was quite hard at first. Considering you drained some of my power it took a whole lot longer. But since I'm back you're in trouble."

Serrator plunged his hand into Ryan's chest and he flung Serrator across the room who crashed into the wall and crumbled. He grinned with his new power and stood with ease as Ryan approached him.

"I'm stronger than you," Serrator said.

     "Not for long," Ryan retorted.

Ryan drove his hand into Serrator's chest draining the power Serrator stole from him. Serrator collapsed out of energy.

"I'll enjoy-" Ryan was cut off, because he disappeared.

Ryan found himself before an abandoned and broken house. He stared at it puzzled of how he came here.

    "Creepy," he commented.

Ryan walked towards the house and opened the door allowing it to five way of a creaking sounds in the door hinges. He coughed breathing in the dust that inhabited the house.

    "Hello?!" he called.

He walked into a different room that led to a staircase. He walked down the stairs and found the basement. Lined against the wall was an oversized blood red coffin. There was a lock, obviously signaling that there was no way to open it. Ryan reached for the lock instantly receiving a feeling of death the cold metal freezing his fingertips.

Suddenly, something pushed Ryan back slamming him against the wall.

Ryan POV

The "something", appeared to be a dude my age, at least. He looked as if her were about hiss, like a vampire would do if they were baring fangs. But unfortunately for him, I released myself from his grip and slamming him on the floor holding him there telekinetically.

"What is in that coffin?" I demanded.

"Come on little brother, not even a 'hello'? It's been so long," he replied.

     "Brother? I don't have a brother."

"Think again, remember where Mom left you? Think of the memory, and who else she was cradling in her arms."

Whatever this guy was talking about, he was obviously insane. I mean come on, I don't have a brother, do I? I stared at him trying to think out the similarities, we did have the same eye color, but that's got to be a coincidence.

"Don't be ignorant to accept it, look back on the memory," he said.

I shut my eyes trying to go back. I found myself in the frontyard of a house, my house. The house I had before my mother died. A woman with brown hair walked towards the house holding two figures in each of her arms. I walked closer the woman not noticing me. I waved my hand in front of her face and she didn't even acknowledge it.

"I want you to know, that I love, and that I will always love you," she whispered.

I looked closer to see that one of the figures was me, as baby. The other looked exactly llike my supposedly "brother".

     "Come to reality?" he asked.

"You really are my brother," I said in disbelief. "What's your name?"

     "Ash."

I removed my hold on him and Ash stood.

"What's in the coffin?" I asked.

"You don't trust me do you?" Ash replied.

"No, but unlike the others, I have a reason to trust you."

     "Others, you mean-"

     "The Samurai Rangers."

"Oh yes, I forgot, you were with them for a while."

     "So you're not a Ranger?"

"I am, I just refuse to use it. Grey Ranger."

"I knew it, I'm the Black Ranger, you're the Grey Ranger, really typical."

"Actually, you weren't supposed to be the Black Ranger, I was. I became the Grey Ranger after you were chosen, you wouldn't have lost your humanity, I would have controlled it if it were me but you screwed it up."

"Me, seriously? If it were you, you would've lost your humanity just the same."

"No I wouldn't have. Because I wouldn't have let those pathetic Rangers hold me back."

I remained silent. I hate to admit it, but he was right.

"So back to the main topic, what on earth, is in that coffin?" I said.

"I have no idea, but there is something in a certain book," Ash replied.

     "What's the name?"

"I don't know, it's just supposed to be really old."

"I'll check the Shiba House, that place is filled with old history books. It'll be fun to provoke one of them, of course if a Nighlok isn't out there causing havoc."

"Don't blow up anything while you're gone."

I glared at Ash and he flew across the room as I opened a portal and walked into it. The Shiba House looked the same. I walked into my old room and searched through the bookcase throwing out anything useless, which was basically everything. As I exited my room I saw Emily and Mike in a major lip lock. They instantly pulled away and a flicker of guilt swept across Emily's eyes.

"Well isn't this interesting," I smirked.

"Ryan I can explain," Emily said.

"Don't bother, I don't care." I walked to the bookshelf and grabbed a random book. "Have fun."

I walked into the forest and released a roar of rage. Clouds crowded the sky and thunder boomed in the distance as trees all around me began to fall. Once I was done releasing my fury and rage I entered a portal. I arrived in the abandoned house and grabbed a wooden shelf pushing it onto the ground. Dust flew around the room and the shelf cracked wood threatening to break. Ash arrived and said, "Who ticked you off."

"I still care!" I yelled. "I still care! I still care."

"Ok, you still care, will you be getting to a point anytime soon?"

"Why do I still care?! I have no humanity."

I kicked a nearby rocking chaiir which crashed into the wall cracking it.

"Did you get the book or not?" Ash asked flatly.

I threw him the book and he flipped through it.

"This isn't the book," Ash said finally.
