The Prophecy (A Power Rangers Samurai Fan Fic)

New Disk, New Weapons

Emily POV

I woke up to find myself in the medical room of the Shiba House. Ryan was already awake holding a small dark violet Zord in his hands and I instantly knew it was the Wolf Zord.

"Finally," Ryan said.

"How long have I been out?" I asked.

"Three days."

"What?!"

"I'm kidding, it's only been a few hours."

"You are so annoying when you do that!"

"You love me."

"What?" my heart skipped a beat.

He quickly changed the subject by saying, "The Wolf Zord's picked up a scent."

"A scent?"

"The scent of a Power Disk."

"Really, where?"

"I'm not sure."

He set down the Wolf Zord and the ground and it began to sniff the air. The Zord looked at Ryan and nodded to the forest. I climbed out of bed and followed Ryan into the forest. The Wolf Zord continued sniffing the air and dashed into the woods Ryan and I running after it.

Finally, the Zord stopped abruptly at a clearing and began to dig furiously at the ground.

"Maybe I could try. I am the Ranger of Earth," I suggested.

"You think you could do it?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah, just let me try."

I removed my Samuraizer from my pocket and stepped next to the Wolf Zord. I pointed my Samuraizer at the ground and made the kanji for dig. The ground parted a little and I knew this would take a while. I continued making the kanji for dig until sweat beaded on my face and I was breathing heavily.

"Em, take a break," Ryan said.

My legs gave way and Ryan quickly held me in his arms. My stomach fluttered and I felt my heart beating faster. He always did this to me when I was close to him, especially considering my feelings for him.

"Take a breather," he whispered. 

I felt his breath and my neck which nearly made me blush. I nodded and sat down on a nearby log. I watched as Ryan grabbed another log and pounded it on the spot where I was digging. It went on like that for fifteen minutes and now, his shirt stuck to him like a second skin and sweat beaded on his biceps and face. 

"I got it!" he exclaimed snapping me out my trance. 

I rose from my seat and stumbled a bit but managed to walk towards Ryan and peer down the hole which was at least a foot deep. A gust of wind blew from the hole my hair blowing away from my face.

    "Can you feel that?" Ryan asked.

    "Feel what?" I replied.

    "I can't describe it, a shiver just went down my spine."

    The Wolf Zord leaped into the hole and howled. There were rustling noises from the hole in the ground and the Wolf Zord leaped out of the hole with a black Power Disk in its mouth.

Normal POV (Cody's house)

Cody's father hammered down a red hot piece of black metal against another piece of metal. Cody made a thin blue paint line along Kevin's BullZooka making the kanji for water on the sides. Next to Kevin's Bullzooka was Mia's, Jayden's, and Natalie's. Creating the BullZookas was a long period of silence, but Cody's father was glad that he and his son were spending time together.

    "I can't believe the Silver Ranger exists!" Cody said in disbelief.

    "You know, your great-grandmother used to say she was once great friends with the Silver Ranger. But she was a little bonkers, as your grandmother put it," Cody's father replied.

    The piece of hot metal quickly cooled and was now attached to Ryan's BullZooka. Once the pair were done, Cody stuffed the Rangers' newly built weapons into a very large duffel bag and made his way to the Shiba House.

   

Once he got there, the other Rangers were discussing the newly found Raven Disk. Cody looked in wonder at the Raven Disk. They didn't acknowledge Cody's appearance as he said, "What is that?"

    "The Raven Disk, and apparently, I'm supposed to wield it," Ryan answered.

    "Obviously, ravens are dark and hide in the shadows, like you," Natalie sand Jayden smirked.

    "Why, don't you show the Rangers what you've come to deliver," Mentor said and Cody grinned excitedly.

    Cody set the duffel bag on the table and carefully removed the BullZookas from it. Each Ranger accepted theirs and admired its craftmenship.

    "These are awesome!" Mike exclaimed still staring at his.

    "My dad and I call them BullZookas, look on the back. There's a slot for you to enter your Power Disks and under it is the kanji for bull," Cody explained, "But there's also a catch. Since you're connected to your Power Disks, each time you use them, it drains your energy."

    "Of course," Natalie muttered.

    Ryan rose from his seat and announced, "Well, as much fun as this has been, I'll be going out, call me if a Nighlok comes."

    "Where are you going?" Antonio asked.

    "Forest, for some target practice."

    Ryan grinned and pointed his BullZooka near Natalie's head. He fired and a blast of energy whizzed past her head and into a practice dummy. Before anyone could respond, Ryan walked out of the Shiba House.
