*Tom*
And there she is, walking towards me on her father's arm, looking like a vision of ethereal beauty, smiling so happily. I take a deep breath, trying to hold back the tears, knowing I will spill a lot of those today. I cast a glance at the beautiful watch I found in a gift beside our bed this morning, probably placed there by either my sister or Zac. It has an inscription on the back. 'You are the most beautiful thing I keep inside my heart'.

As they reach me, I take her hand, kissing it softly and I see a single tear escape her eye. They way she looks at me is everything, it is all I will ever need in this world.

The minister starts the ceremony and soon it is time for my vows. I have them in my pocket but I don't need them, I just have to look into her eyes. "Two years ago I could never have imagined I would be in this place. A place where I look into the eyes of my best friend and pledge to you my love. You are the sweetest, most loving caring and kind person I have ever known, and I have no doubt that you make me a better man and father. You believe in me and have shown me how to love with unconditional acceptance and every day you reaffirm that you are my soul mate. Together we are an unbreakable pair, bound by our love. I'm not sure that a lifetime is long enough for me to return all that you have given me but I promise to spend my days by your side. To inspire you, laugh with you, cherish you, confirm you, share your dreams and grow with you. I believe in what we are and I will always love you with every beat of my heart".

"Oh Tom that was so beautiful". She whispers for only me to hear, tears escaping her eyes and I can't help smiling.

Then it's her turn and I listen as she entwine her fingers with mine and softly say. "I didn't fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we'd choose anyway. And I'd choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I'd find you and I'd choose you every time".

I swallow down a sob, unable to control my smile, and I simple have to kiss her, whispering against her lips. "Thank you love, in every world and every reality I will be there".

"A little to early for the kissing Tom". Zac says after clearing his throat. And I roll my eyes at him before looking at the minister as he finishes up his part.

Zac hands me the rings and I slide Kitty's on her finger, then she take my ring and slide it on my finger, and it just feels so perfect.

*Persephone*
I can't believe how beautiful Tom's vows was, but I always knew he had a way with words. I felt mine faded next to his, but I can see in his eyes that they touched him and that is all that matters to me.

We step over to the little table that holds a beautiful heart shaped vase and three glasses of different coloured sand. Tom picks up the red sand symbolising a passion for live, physical energy and health. And I take the green symbolising compassion, unconditional love and balance.

The minister speaks. "Tom and Persephone, today you are making a lasting commitment to share the rest of your lives with each other, joining your two families into one. First, you will each separately pour a layer of sand into the vase, representing who you are as an individual".

I pour first and then Tom pours, the minister continues. "Then, you will pour simultaneously, blending your two colors as you will blend your lives in marriage".
And as we both pour he says. "As the individual grains of sand can no longer be separated, may your bond also be inseparable".

"But you are also making a bond with your daughter Athena, whom Tom has adopted to be her father from this day forth. As she also contribute her unique personalities and strengths to this new family, she will also individually add a layer of sand to this unity vase". Athena gets her white sand presenting purity and connection to a higher power. And very carefully pours her layer.

"Then all three of you will pour together, representing your commitment to each other, as a family, now and for all time to come". The minister finish the sand ceremony as we all pour our sands. Athena looking so proud.

Tom puts the lid on the vase, sealing in the sand. It is going to be standing on mantelpiece in the living-room. The mister smiles at us. "Now you can kiss your bride".

And by God he kisses me, making me lose my breath and Athena yell. "Eww daddy". Making everyone, even the minister break into laughter.

Just when everyone is about to get up from their chairs, Tom hold up his hand. "If everyone would just stay seated for a moment, I think Zac has something to say". He smiles at Zac with a nod.

Zac takes Laura's hand and goes down on one knee, making everyone but Tom gasp. I lean into him whispering. "You two planned this ?"

"Yeah, I hope you don't mind ? He needed a bit of a push getting it done. Poor bastard is scared she is going to say no". He folds his arms around me. Pulling me close to him.

I can't help smiling. I am sure Zac has no reason to be nervous, Laura loves him so much. "No I don't mind. I think it's amazing and very romantic".

Zac clear his throat, looking at her with tears in his eyes. "You make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if you let me, I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way. Please marry me ?"

"You already do Zac. And there is nothing I would love more". She says, tears rolling down her face as everyone claps and whistles and Zac slides the ring on her finger. His face lighted up by the most beautiful smile.

*Laura*
I can't stop the tears from spilling down my cheeks. I had hoped he would propose, because.. well because I love him with all my heart and there is nothing I would love more than being his wife.

"Just one more question my love. Would you marry me right here and now ?" Zac look at me, nervously chewing on his lip, clearly nervous if he has gone to far.

Actually I would love to, I only have two worries. "But I don't have a wedding dress and what about our families, won't they be disappointed ?"

"Well remember that dress you loved ? It might be hanging inside just waiting for you. And as for our families..". He makes a motion towards the door, just as they open and our families spill out.

I am sobbing now, hugging him hard to support myself. "Oh Zac, you did all this for me ? Of course I'll marry you today. If Tom and Kitty is okay with it ?"

"Of course it's okay, actually we kind of planned it this way". Tom says, and I see him cast a nervous glance at Kitty but she just smiles. And Tom calls out. "Well seems like we will have one more wedding in about an hour".
