Chapter 2

"That's great , so your ahead of everyone in your class " Katy said as we drove

"Yup but I wish I wasn't " I said sadly

"Why " she asks

"Because I think that's why my mommy and daddy gave me up because I was to smart for them "I answered

"No that can't be why " she said as she pulled up to Taco Bell , she ordered food and then drive up to get it , she handed me some chicken nuggets and a chocolate milk .

"Thank you " I said

"Uh hu , so what grade are you in then ?" she asked then took a drink of her coke

"I'm going into 4th or 5th I'm not sure , I don't want to I just want to be normal but I have to be so stupid smart " I said realizing that stupid smart didn't make any sense at all

"Well it's a good thing by the way I liked your prank " she said looking at me smiling

"Thanks but it was meant for frank " I said

"It's ok although my feet are wet it's still ok " she said smiling

"Where do you live ?" I asked

"California las Angela's " she said

"How far is that from here ?" I asked

"Well it's the next state over , you live in Nevada and I live right next to it , we should be there by morning " she said , we drove and drove my butt was starting to hurt and I'm getting tired and we don't even seen close .

(Katy's POV )

I looked over at Carla and she was sleeping peacefully , we only have two more hours to go , I'm glad I decided to come in the morning and it's 10:46 so we should be there at 12 something .

"How much longer ?" I heard a cute little voice ask

"Two hours , you can watch a movie on my phone if you want ?" I asked pulling my phone out of my purse

"Yes please " she said so cute .

"Ok here , pick a movie " I said handing her my phone , it was on the movies .

"Thanks " she said

"What movie you watching ?" I asked

"Smurfs 2 " she said not taking her eyes off the screen

"Oh , did you know I'm smurfette" I asked

"No your not , they are smurfs and your an adult " she said like duh

"Ok " I said not wanting to ruin her imagination .

We drove the rest of the hours , the movie ended and Carla fell asleep , I opened my door and walked around to Carla and opened the door , I unbuckled her and picked her up and carried her to the door , I unlocked it and walked in , I locked my car and then walked up stairs locking the door behind me then went into my room and grabbed one of my t-shirts and pulled Carla's clothes off , there were bruises on her legs and stomach . I put the shirt on then laid her on my bed then changed and laid next to her and turned my light off, I pulled her little body close to mine and held her tight . why did she have bruises on her body , she's to young to know what suicide means at least I think she is , I'll ask her tomorrow .

I woke up and seem Carla wasn't besides me , I got up and ran down stairs .

"Carla where are you ?" I yelled

"I'm in here " her little voice yelled from the bathroom I walking into the bathroom and saw her brushing her teeth

"Good morning " I said smiling , leaning against the wall
