Chapter 27

(Carla's POV)

I woke up to my alarm, Sundee fell of the couch which was hilarious.

"Oh shut up" Sundee said throwing a pillow at me

"You have to admit that was hilarious" I said standing up

"Ok fine it was a little" Sundee said standing up

"Do you think Katy's here?" I asked walking to the window. she wasn't

"Well is she?" Sundee asked curiously

"No" I sighed

"Well we better go to school" Sundee said walking up the stairs, I followed her.

I showered and dressed in a pink t-shirt with black jeans and flats. I went downstairs to the kitchen and got some frosted flakes. Once Sundee was done we left for school. on the way I called Katy over and over, but no answer. She left and she's never coming back just like my parents. Nobody likes me, right now I feel annoying, alone, ugly.

"Bye see you later" Sundee yelled as we split.i waved and walking into my class.

***at lunch***

I found Sundee sitting alone so I sat by her but noticed her eyes were red and puffy. I pretended not to notice and just eat my food but I couldn't help it.

"Are you ok?" I asked looking at her trying to hide her face

"No...my friends hate me now because of you" she whispered

"Me? what did I do?" I asked

"They don't like you, at all" she said looking down

"Oh"i stood up and went to my locker. I grabbed my phone and texted Katy.

'Please answer me I need you, I always did' I waited for a wile till the bell rang so I ran to class.

***after school 3:30pm***

I seen Sundee as my locker, she looked sad. I walked up, opened it, and put my stuff in my backpack.

"Carla I think we shouldn't be friends I'm sorry" Sundee said then walked off. I watched her go to her old friends the ones she said 'hate' and hug them smiling.i closed my locker up and went home trying not to cry, trying to think positive about everything, about the dead bunny I seen on the squished on the road, the bird flying in the sky. when I got back to Katy's she still wasn't there so I ran around back and got in threw the back door. I ran up to the fridge and got some chocolate and milk. I seen a white paper on the table and went to read it, it read 'went to work be back around 7:30pm' I put it in the trash. when I got in my room I put Sherlock on and did my home work.

***after school the next day***

I ran home hoping not to get hurt by them again. I had detention for being late and to top it all off Katy wasn't in the drive way and Sundee doesn't like me leaving me home alone, again. I ran to the backyard and in the house using the back door. I got some cookies and milk then did my home work as I watched Sherlock. I felt hands over my mouth, I thought it was Katy till I felt a sharp pain in my arm and seen someone standing I front of me, there were two of them. my vision got blurry, I couldn't move, talk, I could badly breathe that's when everything went black.

I opened my eyes slightly because there was a warm feeling on my stomach. I could see clearly, my feeling was numb but everything else was normal. I seen Katy laying her head on my stomach, she was crying. I put my hand on her head caressing her beautiful raven colored hair with my fingers. she looked up and smiled but she looked funny 'cause she was cry/laughing.
