Chapter 54

(Katy's POV)

I sat waiting for my drink as Tamra and Bradford talked. lunch is always boring if I'm feeling like this. I feel tired and worn.

"So Katy when we get back to the studio we are going over track 7 again ok?" Bradford asked as the waiter handed me my drink.

"Thanks" I said smiling at the waiter "yes Bradford it's fine"

"Ok cool...whats going on with Carla?" Bradford asked by surprise

"She was taking drugs and didn't know it...im not sure I want her going to school but she needs education it's just ugh" I sighed

"Wow she's eight and has to worry about stuff like that at the school" Tamra said "how are you and her doing?"

"Good actually" I said smiling.

"buzz buzz" the table vibrated. I looked down at my phone that vibrated making Tamra and Bradford look at me as I picked it up.

"It's the school" I said as I slid my finger across the green button "hello"

"This is Carla's mother right?" Miss brown asked

"Yes why has she done something?" I asked looking at Bradford

"Not exactly...Im not sure exactly what happened but somehow she got into a fight and a girl was slamming her head repeatedly into a table" I gasped "she's in the nurses office now getting her head wrapped and the ambulance is on their way here as we speak"

"I'll be right there" I said sliding out

"What happened?" Bradford asked as he slid out also

"Some kid was slamming Carla's head into a table repeatedly" I said rushing to the door. paparazzi was out there taking pictures every move I made. I got into the car, in the passengers seat since it was Bradford's car.

We drove worry was pushing me off the edge I nearly blew up at Bradford and Tamra five times. when we finally arrived at the hospital I ran in not waiting for Tamra or Bradford.

"What room is Carla Hudson in?" I asked the lady at the front desk

"Room 107" she said smiling. I rushed up to her room and lightly knocked on the door before entering. I seen Miss Brown sitting on the a chair. It wasn't a normal hospital room it was like an emergency room but not for her to stay in longer then at least one day

"Katy" Carla squealed as I rushed over to her.

"Baby you ok?" I asked hugging her

"Ya I'm fine" she said muffled as she was still in my arms

"That doctor said she had a minor concussion but is ok to go home but not sleep for at least an hour" Miss Heltion said standing up "May I please talk to you...alone?" She asked walking out of the room

"I'll be right back" I said as I followed Miss Heltion out of the room

"Zaria was the one who was caught giving drugs to other students she came back at Carla for it...she wrote all over Carla's locker 'I will get you back' she probably would've killed her if other kids didn't see the blood, nobody was going to help except that they seen the blood and realized Carla was unconscious and Sundee was screaming" Miss Heltion said as I seen Tamra and Bradford walking over here.

"Ok thanks for letting me know I'll tell Winston to sit with her at lunch and in class and walk close to her on the way home and she can sleep with me the so for your concern" I said smiling

"Well I'm going to go" she said turning

"Thanks for staying with her" I yelled as she was already down the hall.

"Is Carla ok?" Tamra asked as I opened the door

"Ya she's fine" I said as I held Carla's hand

"Can she go home?" Bradford asked

"Ya once I talk to the doctor and get his permission...oh Carla his is Bradford my manager" I said introducing them

"Nice to meet you Bradford" Carla said giving her dazzling smile.
