Chapter 51

(Katy's POV)

I sat there biting my lip.nervousness taking over me. I had texted Carla more the ten times begging her to come back.

"We have search parties out now we will find her" Winston. Reassured me.

"If I wouldn't have told her to go she would've been here with me" I said feeling guilty.

"It's hit your fault just chill" Desiree said trying to comfort me "it's her own fault for taking everything to heart"

"My dad is out there looking for her and he is like batman he will find her and then maybe he can get the girl?" Savanna asked

"I don't know" I said not wanting to think about Tyler.

I listened to Savanna and Desiree talk and talk and talk for three hours. I'm getting more worried then ever being that there is someone trying to kill her.

"Kate we found her" Tyler said as he came towards me and the girls with a strange man holding my baby bridal style.

"Is she ok?" I asked rushing to her. I took her from the man and held her, she was ice cold

"She was holding this when he found her...shes pretty old you should probably warm her up" Tyler said as he put a small nest in my car.

"Thank you so much. how can I ever repay you" I asked the guy who was holding my baby. I pulled out my money from my purse and was looking for a fifty dollar bill

"No need to pay me I just wanted to make sure the little lady was safe. when I found her she was almost out of it you should get her home and warm" he said smiling. I didn't want to be rude but he looked creepy and the way he said her and she was creepy

"Right...are you sure you don't want any money?" I asked

"Positive I just wanted to see her safe in your arms again..." he said looking at her. he stared at her for a few seconds before I turned to go to my car. I put Carla in the passengers seat and closed the door. I thanked everyone and offered them all money, only some took the money the others said they would never accept money from me. everyone left and it was just me the guards, Tyler and his girls.

"Maybe I should follow you home just to make sure you get there safe" Tyler said as his kids got in his car

"Umm ok...see you there" I said going to my car and closing the door. I sat in the back seat with Addis. I asked Able to drive so I could hold Carla. When we arrived home I got down and carried Carla to the couch and laid her down. I ran to my room and got all my blankets for her.

"Want anything to drink?" I asked Tyler and his girls

"Can I please have some water?" Tyler asked

"Ya sure anything for you girls?" I asked. honestly I hope they leave so I can cuddle Carla and sleep it's been a long day and tomorrow it's going to be even longer cause I'll have to talk with Carla about what happened today and figure out what to do with the birds just thinking about it exhausts me.

"No thanks we're good" they said as I got ice water for Tyler

"Daddy I'm tired" Desiree said quietly

"Here you go" I said handing Tyler the water and sitting at the table across Tyler.

"So maybe we could get together sometime...just you and I" Tyler said

"Ya maybe soon but not till I get things straightened up with Carla..." I said looking over at her sleeping on the couch cuddled up with the blankets, she looked so cute.
