"Anyway, has TUESDAY picked up on anything?" I asked handing over the files towards the others' screens. "Possibly" Tony replied. Bruce busied himself on energy levels, "if this guy is using laser tech then we should be able to pick up on his energy signature." He said, starting a scanning process before walking over to another screen. "Blueberry?" I looked over my shoulder and caught the incoming food, my dad always hid snacks around and no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't find them. "Are we sure this guy is even nearby? He could be half way across the country." I stated sitting down and writing on my science homework. "He must be, the laser drone TUESDAY filmed was a short range." Tony replied, and I glanced up towards the pictures. "Yeah...hey what's the answer to this?" I asked throwing my sheet over towards Bruce. "Um...36J" he said handing me be the paper. "Thanks big guy." I noticed a slightly annoyed look on my dads face and sighed. "Aaannd I'm done!" I celebrated before picking up my supplies and heading back to my room.

Once inside, I flopped down onto my bed and closed my eyes. "Man, it's been a long day." I said to myself before sitting back up and glancing towards the corner of my room at the untouched guitar. Something awoke inside of me and I felt the need to play, to sing, to express myself. I picked it up and dusted it down before running my hands over the familiar strings, smiling to myself. Then I heard a tapping sound, I chose to ignore it as my room was at the top of the facility building and no one could be at my window. Then it came again, I looked at the window, nothing. *Tap*

Now I stood, and walked over to my window and looked outside, then a familiar red mask appeared. "Shit! Fuck! Shit!" I screamed jumping back, before taking a deep breath and opening the window. "What're you doing wall crawler?" I whisper shouted.
"I told you I would drop by didn't I?" I couldn't see it, but I knew he was smirking behind the mask. "Yeah, but I thought you meant later, like in a week." I stated stepping back, allowing him space to crawl inside. "Well, I got bored....and I kinda missed you." I rolled my eyes before sitting on my desk chair. He wandered my room before picking up the guitar, "you play?" He asked and I shrugged. "Used to, but not much anymore" he ran his fingers over the strings before looking back up at me. "What changed?" He questioned passing it my way, "everything," I responded strumming a couple of strings and blinking back the tears. "How? I mean other than the accident." I shrugged.
"I lost my world, Spidey." I realised that it sounded like I was an alien or some shit but I didn't really care. "Could you play for me?" He sat himself on my bed and I shook my head placing the guitar back on its stand. "Not today, I'm not in the mood." I turned away, unable to face the masked man. I looked down at the note on my desk, it had the picture of the message off of Living Laser.

"This guy is really getting to you isn't he?" I jumped at the Spider's voice. "I guess it's more anger and pain. He set me on a path I wasn't destined to walk." I went over and sat beside him on the bed, leaning back into the pillows. "Maybe you were, I mean...when this has all passed your life will get better, and it was all to make you stronger." He suggested but I gritted my teeth. "No, I refuse to believe it, she can't have died because of my destiny." I looked away from him, and he instantly apologised. "That's not what I meant. Every road has turnings, she just happened to take the left one whilst you took the right." I rubbed my hand over the picture of us which sat on my bedside table. "I can leave, I'm sorry. I get it, I shouldn't have said that...goodnight Riley." I grabbed his hand as he made his way to the window, stopping him instantly. "Stay. Please, just until I fall asleep." I lay down and he nodded. "Oh...um okay. Okay." He sat down and I moved my head onto his lap as his gloved hand played with my hair. "Goodnight wall crawler." I said through a yawn, "goodnight Miss Stark." And through closed eyes I could have sworn that I was back in Peter's bedroom as he allowed me to sleep after my nightmares, but he would tell me if he could swing from webs, right?

When I woke up I was alone again and there was a small note on my bedside table, I stretched before picking it up.
Had to swing, stay strong. See you around Stark- Friendly Neighbourhood Spiderman
I rolled my eyes at the signature before walking over to my wardrobe and getting ready, I guess I could get away with no breakfast for this morning after the previous events. I sat down on my beanbag and decided to play on my phone for a bit, until there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" I called, it was Steve. "I'm going to train for a bit if you want to join, or your dad suggested working on a new suit since your other one is 'old and worn'" I smiled at the voice he put on at the end of the sentence. "It's still younger than you old timer." I stated, standing and grabbing my kit. "I know, meet you in there?" He asked and I nodded before quickly throwing on the workout gear, to be fair it was just a smaller kit from shield that Natasha got a hold of for me. Once changed I threw my hair into a high ponytail and headed out and along the corridor.
