Two days later
I yawned as I sat up, but when I went to turn and swing my legs over the edge of my bed, I realised I wasn't at home. I was still at Bucky's place. "Morning Riley." Came his voice from the table, where he sat eating a plum. "Morn...ing" I replied, yawning half way through as I stretched and walked over to him. I sat opposite and he stared at me, "what?" I questioned, he shrugged. "I'm still not used to having company. I try to avoid people in general, my mind is still...not right." He took another bite of the plum, "Steve mentioned it, you were captured by Hydra?" Once he nodded, I continued. "They made you into the winter soldier but Steve got through it, then you ran and here you are." As I finished he ate the last of his food and frowned. "Tell me more, the stories that Steve told you, tell me about him." It was only then that I realised, he remembered very little about his best friend.

"Well, from what I know, he hasn't changed a bit from back then, when you knew him. He trains a lot more than healthy, but it's his way to deal with things, the memories. I know he wishes it was him instead, that he could swap places with you, even though he hasn't told me." I admitted, sighing as I looked out of the window. "How do you know?" He asked. I looked back at him. "I've been through it, wishing it was you instead. I lost my friend a few months ago, and up until recently when Peter helped me get over it, I wished I had died instead. Every time he spoke of you I could see the same look in his eyes, that I held in my own." I explained, he leant forward and patted my hand. "Thank you, for telling me all this and trusting me so easily. I know it must be tough." He stood after saying this, and walked to the counter, picking up a glass and filling it with water, before handing it to me. I smiled, "thanks." Bucky went to the corner and picked up his bag, "You want to come? I'm going for a walk." He asked, I stood, "why not?" I responded as I finished the glass and stood up. He searched through a couple of draws before sighing, "what's the matter?"
"I'm running low on money, sorry. I was gonna buy you some new clothes but I hope you don't mind...."
"It's okay, I'll get anything you need. I have the money, I'm a billionaire's daughter." I cut him off, opening the door and waiting for him to lead, he did and we wandered down the steps, into the streets.

I walked to a cash machine and took out a couple hundred dollars, which came out in Lei,(it being the local currency,) I then passed half to Bucky. "Take it, no questions." I snapped before he could protest. After that, we walked in silence as I followed Bucky through the crowd of people that swarmed the street, he lead me along the side where it was calmer and pulled me into a shop. It was small, but the clothes were good, and they were like what I'd normally wear, minus all the leather and designer pieces. I looked at Bucky, "I'll be quick, give me ten minutes and I'll be done." I told him, wandering further into the shop whilst he sat down. I picked out a white top that said villain, shorts, tights, a pair of trainers and finally a plaid blazer over the top, then I walked to the changing room and put it all on.

I smiled at myself in the mirror, before walking back out. I walked up to the counter, "would it be possible to buy this and wear it out?" I asked, the man nodded and I smiled. I went back to the changing room and picked up my old clothes, after a wash, I could wear them again. I handed them to Bucky, who put them into his backpack, whilst I paid for my new set, which was surprisingly cheap. "Now where?" I asked, smiling at Bucky, who smiled back.
