[Remus' POV]I was in the middle of calming James down when (Y/N) walked in with Lily. It looked as if Lily had been standing in the cold for hours, her face was almost as red as her hair.
"We're going to skip dinner tonight," announced (Y/N).
James' head lifted as soon as he heard (Y/N), as he saw Lily standing beside her.
He quickly rushed over to her where she was still awkwardly standing, and pleaded with her.
"Lily flower, I didn't mean to upset you, I'm sorry I'm such a git, please don't hate me more than you already do!"
I had to oppress a chuckle, and by the looks of it, so did (Y/N) and Peter.
Lily looked him straight in the eye and her expression softened.
"Alright, alright," she said. "Things can go back to the way they were."
"YESS! Thank you, thank you, Lily, for not hating me." James fist bumped with Sirius.
"Now, if you don't mind, I could eat the whole Whomping Willow, so I'll be heading down to get dinner," James said as Sirius saluted and Peter quickly scurried along.
Lily yawned.
"Yeah, I'm pretty tired myself, I'm heading upstairs. Goodnight, guys," she said as she climbed up the stairs into her dormitory.
It was just (Y/N) and I.
[Your POV]
"I should be heading upstairs, after all, I am skipping dinner and I have nothing else to do," I shrugged.
Remus stared.
"You shouldn't go to sleep on an empty stomach. I mean, it's Hogwarts. You must be hungry for something," he said, emphasizing his words.
"No, really, I'm fine, go eat for yourself." I motioned towards the door.
Remus thought for a moment.
"Wait here," he said, as he abruptly rushed out the door.
- time skip of like 5-10 mins -
I heard Remus fighting with the Fat Lady about something having to do with "the rules of the Hogwarts dormitories."
After a few moments, Remus came in, a bit tired but smiling, holding a plate piled with chocolate.
"She wouldn't let me bring food in here, sorry it took me a while," he said as he offered me the plate.
I smiled.
"Remus, you didn't have to," I said as I looked through the pile.
"Chocolate Frogs! My favourite! How did you know?" I smiled at the large amount of Chocolate Frogs on my plate.
"Lucky guess," he shrugged, "they're my favourite, too," he said as he unwrapped one.
I sat on the sofa by the fire and started to feel warm on the inside from a reason I couldn't explain. Whenever I was with Remus, I was happy.
Huh.
Oh, no. Oh no, oh no.
I didn't - like - Remus, did I? I pondered to myself as I dug through the pile absentmindedly.
I snapped out of my daze when I caught Remus looking at me as he was playing with the wrapper of his chocolate.
I smiled at him.
"Thank you, so much for the chocolate, I didn't know I actually needed it until right now," I said.
"Also, how on Earth did you even get it? I doubt it's served at dinner and I'm not sure that the house elves would be allowed to give someone that much candy, especially at night," I question.
He just winked at me.
"Don't worry about it. Now you should get a good night's sleep, okay?" he urged.
"Okay, good night Remus." I said.
Before I could stop myself, I hugged him and felt my cheeks burning. I think he felt so, too, because he tensed up.
He pulled away, gave me a small smile and headed out of the room.
