Someone New?

Hey guys! Cliss and I found out a way to write without killing each other!!!! I'll be on my laptop on my account writing and she will be on a different computer on her account in different rooms, maybe in different states if needed... jk. So let's see how this goes, wish us luck!

" Hello, Is Isabella Porter there?" asked a female voice, she sounded british.

" This is she, may I ask who is asking?" I replied plugging my other ear, to block out everyone's questions.

" This is Adele Adkins, I recieved a video of you singing my song." My eyes widened as I looked at the boys and Lani. They were asking 'who is it?' and mouthing me questions. I put my fingers to lips and moitioned for them to be quiet.

" Who sent it you?" I asked.

" Someone named Megan Summons." she said. I did a facepalm and shook my head. I'm going to kill her later. " Sing the chorus for me."

" Excuse me?" I asked.

" Sing the chorus of Someone Like You. I would like to hear you." she said simply.I closed my eyes and sang the chorus for Adele.

" Never mind, I'll find someone like you

I wish nothing nothing but the best for you, too

Don't forget me, I begged, I remember you said

Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead..."

The boys and Lani were staring at me wide eyed and speechless. I smiled and shook my head. " That was beautiful, you truely are an amazing singer." She said. This took my breath away, I sat there breathlessly, trying to find the right words.

"Thank you, you are also an amazing singer I am a big fan of your work."

" You are a way better singer than I am," she said.

" Oh, I don't know about that," I said smiling.

" I truely think so, I would like to meet you in person. What do you say?"

I thought about it for a minute and decided to answer it by " I'll to back with you on that."

" Well just have someone call me and set up a date. Hopefully, I'll see you soon. Goodbye."

"Bye." With that she hung up the phone. I sat there wide eyed looking at my phone, shocked by what had just happened. I was immediatly shot with questions, and just sat there staring at my phone.

"Who was it?" "What did they say?" "Why were you singing?" I came back into reality, and shook my head from my thoughts. I let out an excited scream and then an upset one. I can't choose which emotion I am feeling, angry or happy.

"What just happened?" I said, confused by my emotions. 

" I don't know! You won't tell us!" said Lani.

"What?" I asked "Hold on." I sorted through all my thoughts and breathed in and out. " Adele called me. She said that she got the video of me singing. She said that I was a wonderful singer. She wants to meet me in person. Megan sent her the video."

"That girl Megan is really wanting you to be famous doesn't she?" asked Liam.

"Yeah," I said smiling "Megan!" I grabbed my phone and dialed her number. I knew she wasn't in school, it was Saturday. I waited while the phone rang. I tapped my foot impatiently, until she answered. She answered on the third ring and she sounded like her usual cheery self.
